Ace was super accommodating to me and my needs, was quick to be able to get out to my house and help solve my issues. Was even able to reschedule (my fault) on the same day as my appointment without issue. Matt, the service technician, was helpful, quick, and answered all of my questions. Nothing but good things to say.

Our garage door was broken and couldnt even be opened without two people and a 2x4. Ace came out that afternoon to look it over and give us a quote. The price to replace the door, springs, and tracks was very reasonable. The people who worked on it (Matt and Vince) were incredibly nice, super helpful, and did a fantastic job. I never thought I would be so happy over a garage door, but I am! It looks incredible! Thank you Ace Door Company!

Great experience from start to finish. Vince was quick to get back to me after a weekend call and had Matt stop out that same day to diagnose the issue. Vince gave me options and his expert opinion on the right way to go and was transparent about everything. I'm glad to know Ace Door is so close and ready to assist at a moments notice.

Ace was not the first company I called. The first one sent a salesman out, and when I called back to schedule an install, was told that they wouldn't have the salesman's paperwork for another four days. That didn't give me a good feeling. I learned that most door companies are actually just sales organizations that book jobs, and then pass them on to subcontractors. I wanted a company that installed what they sold.
My next call was to Ace. I noticed that they were local to me, and had their own truck. Owner Vince came out that afternoon and spent a good deal of time with me discussing

Vince at Ace Doors is very personable, experienced and very reasonably priced. My garage in Ferndale has a low ceiling that needed to be altered to allow the garage door opener to operate properly. I was looking to do the install on my own but didn't want to start cutting into joists. Vince assessed the situation and said he encounters this situation all the time and it shouldn't take him more than an hours time. This even included installing the opener, sensors and keypad on the outside, all of which I was figuring I would do to save money.

I called wanting someone to come out and check out my garage door and see if it could be fixed or replaced. I could not even get it to open manually. Vince offered to come out the same day and we set up a time. A little a while later he called back and said he could come an hour earlier if that worked for me. It worked much better!
After looking at it, he said I definitely needed a new door and opener (as I suspected). He went over the door options and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. My garage is just a simple detached garage that I don't even park a car in.
