Nick did repair work on the duct system in my home and was thorough and professional. More than simply repairing the nearly 100-year old duct, he explained how the system worked and answered questions about my HVAC system so it would work more effectively. Shane was excellent. He is always very professional, on time, courteous, and explains throughly what the problem is. I feel confident that my issue will be well taken care of because Shane fixed it and also with dealing with Home Performance Group. Thankfully my wife got the extended labor warranty on our water heater four years ago. We noticed some problems late last week and called Menards to make a claim on the warranty. Home Performance Group called me Monday morning (yesterday) to schedule today.
Eric just left and he was so helpful! Not only did he assess the issues and file the claim paperwork, but he also gave me information on other services we have been looking into. He was a wealth of information for every question I had. I am very pleased. Thank you all!

I went with Home Performance Group because it seemed like I got more for my money. After the down payment I was told by Patrick Sittenauer that carrier was having problems getting parts in for new units. Patrick kept wanting to sell me a unit that was in the warehouse for $100.00 more which I told him no that I've spent what I intended to spend. Since my air was working I was in no rush. Then my air quit and I let Patrick know and they were out that next week installing the new unit. The following week they came out and put in the new furnace. Worst experience with a plumbing group. Called them to the house to look at the hot water tank. They said it was "frozen pipes". Called a different company who came out and confirmed the hot water tank did in-fact need to be replaced. I was then charged a $75 service fee for no services rendered.
HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING ANYONE ELSE BUT HOME PERFORMANCE GROUP - VERY POOR EXPERIENCE. I am now having to take the time out of my day to file a complaint with my home warranty. Absolutely unacceptable.

Our 12 year-old dryer stopped drying, and since I maintain a home warranty, I filed a claim. We worked with HPG to fix and electrical issue through our home warranty. I'll start by saying the technician who helped us, Nick, was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable, friendly, arrived on time, worked quick, and was respectful of our home. Would happily work with him again.

I had a bad cliff in our basement and when through my insurance who contacted this company. I am so glad they did! The last time I had a clog the other company had to come out twice. This man only came out once and completely fixed the issue. His name was George and he was extremely efficient and polite! I will preface that we dealt with this company through a home warranty. The initial communication was excellent. We like how they communicate and text you regarding the house call. After our problem was identified and our warranty service supplied them with a replacement part we are waiting 3 weeks plus for them to complete our job and we are not on their schedule yet. We feel that they have already been paid and putting other paying customers ahead of us. That might help their bottom line but it would not make us want to use them again as repeat customers.

The worst company we have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. We had to use them because this is who our home insurance sent. First time they come to the house- take photo of the plumbing issue- no work is done. Ok I get it.

My Air Conditioning would not come on. I called Home Performance Group and easily scheduled an appointment. While their office is in Kearney, they serve the entire KC metro and beyond, so I had no difficulty getting service at my home which is in the center of the metro area.
Nick came out at the scheduled time and was very polite and friendly. He got right to work diagnosing the problem and taking care of the repairs. He explained everything he was doing and answered all my questions. I was impressed with the high quality of work and will definitely call HPG next time I need service!

Nick knew all the time that these 2- Garage Door Openers wouldn't fit in my Garage because they couldn't be Cut Down and Modified.
The Chamberlin Garage Door Openers Rails nor the belt could be cut down and Modified To Be installed

Never in a million years will I ever use this group again. It was a simple leak in a hot tub that needed repaired. It took forever for them to get the part in to begin with. They had to make two trips to the house to identify the problem before they could even order the part. This required me to take time off from my job twice.
