SunTex exterior shading fabric is made of strong vinyl-coated polyester and is pet resistant.

Nik is so awesome! He’s very responsive and great to work with. The whole process was so quick and so so easy, it felt like I blinked and it was done. The screens look awesome and my room is so nice and dark (just what I wanted!) and it feels cooler too for once which is awesome. I highly recommend Nik and his company!

My new screens are working beautifully. 90% block in black. They accents the house nicely and reduced the inside temp at the window ~14 degrees F, on a sunny day (91F).
Temp at window, inside, dropped from 105F to 91F. I compared two windows, both in direct evening sun (central Texas). One with the new screen and one is without.
Outside temp is 91F and the inside temp at the window is the same, 91F. New, more efficient windows would reduce that temp further.
Our central air conditioner is running less and the temp inside the house is a comfortable 74F. Before we installed these new screens out

We wanted to replace some of our solar screens that were mounted in 1/2 in. frames. We needed more durability and Nik, the owner recommended we upgrade to 1 in. frames. He measured our windows and in no time he himself installed our screens that are both beautiful and functional. It has been at least 2 months since the installation and we are quite satisfied with the product. Nik is friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. I highly recommend Southwest Solar Screens.

We found out about Nik and his company from our neighbor who had used him. We already liked the look of his product and when we contacted him, he was quick to respond and schedule a date for an estimate. The turnaround to receive the screens we ordered was quick but I saved the best part to last. The screens we chose were the 90% shade and made our house look amazing. Nik even made sure screens were well secured by adding a couple of extra screws to allow for those extra windy days. I can’t say enough how professional and courteous he is and would highly recommend his company for anyone considering

I had a fantastic experience with Nik and Southwest Solar Screens! Cannot recommend him and his work enough. He was super responsive to my initial contact, and even though it was the middle of a very hot summer he made time to come out the same day and take a look at my home. He measured a multitude of windows on our home, and gave us an estimate that was extremely fair based on the research we had done. He did not charge anything to measure the windows or to provide a consultation, which my wife and I REALLY appreciated. From the day we placed our order, it took roughly a week for the screens
