Panda was so easy to work with regarding our sliding wall of glass addition. They made the process so easy, even supplying us with the general contractor to do the preliminary work. I checked around extensively with many different contractors, since I'm in the development business, who I should use for the manufacturing of the sliding glass wall.

I recently contacted Panda Doors for some replacement Upper 4 Way Rollers for a 22 Panel Frameless Panda Door Bi-Folding System. This Panda Door System that my Company was contracted to repair was not functioning properly and needed new Upper Rollers. These rollers hold the entire panel and are totally independent of each other and also allow for adjustments as it rolls through the upper track. I was put in-touch with Marisol a Service Rep. at Panda Doors. She was very knowledgeable and helpful in helping me find the correct rollers that we needed to repair this door system. I was recommended to Panda through my contractor - we wanted to enclose our outside kitchen and was ordering 2 systems. After multiple measurements, pictures and views of their website we selected one of their systems with horizontal garaging of the panels. After weeks of back and forth they recommend not to go with this system - even though it is on their website.
So we changed our plans and selected another system with a pivot door - which is what they appeared to have been pushing from day 1. This was a compromise on our part but our contractor was confident we would be happy with it.

I had a great experience with the Service dept at Panda doors. A clients house was broken into and had some damage to the locking mechanism, Marisol at Panda was able acquire the parts for this door and overnight the shipment, which allowed me to secure the door the next day. I hope to not have this problem again, but it is good to know Panda took the security of my Client seriously.

What a joke their customer service is regarding repairs. I had a seal come loose on one of my doors so I called and was passed off to Luis. He stated that Panda does not have installers or repairmen on staff only freelancers. Well I called both of them to no avail. Christian would not answer his phone and George was always too busy.
I also purchased a screen door that has since become inoperable. They told me the manufacturer does not warrantee a screen thats outside. Have you ever put a screen door inside?

We ordered 4 total lift and slide doors for a new home we built a year ago through the recommendation of our builder. The final product installed is a good product, however the service is absolutely abysmal! I tried for months to contact someone via phone calls and emails to try and order screens for our doors. I finally received a call back from Terri Frances - Reginal Sales Manager for Southwest and South Central Mountain States (We live in Colorado) and was able to get them to come to my house to measure for the screens, ONLY because they were already in town for another new house build. I am remodeling and expanding my home and decided after shopping around to go with Panda for a large folding door and a large folding window. I was very concerned after reading some of the reviews but happy to say my experience was absolutely perfect. My sales rep. Stephen Keller was awesome, responsive via email and phone at all times. Answered all my questions honestly and quickly. I emailed him all the time and did question the bad reviews but he was very open about it. I am glad I went with an installer he recommended. We live in Northern California and had Panda windows installed 10 years ago. First, I have to credit our installer for ensuring they followed the company's installation instructions; not taking shortcuts to save time or money. The windows are still in great condition. However, our home has settled over the years and needed maintenance and adjustments. Christian, Panda Technician, is awesome! He is very knowledge and professional. He worked on all eight windows and they perform like the first day we had them installed. I would hire Christian again.

This is probably the worst decision I have made in all my years in Contracting. I should have figured, since it took me three times of calling in and getting promised a call back to actually get ahold of someone in the sales department just for an inquiry on the doors. However, I still went on a whim and chose them since they are local. Now the doors resemble the customer service, horrible. My client is everything but satisfied. If I could give negative stars I would. And to add, the installer was incredibly rude. Once they get your money forget about any request on issues with the actual product

I was looknig for windows that had better insulation as we don't have much shade coverage. I went for the thermally broken aluminum windows, which by name doesn't sound good, however they keep the temperature control better than any normal windows and I am able to use my AC and heater less which saves me a ton in the long run.
I am not scientific but if you check them out you can read all the specs if that is something you can do and understand. I took time to call and get questions answered which helped me make the choice that I did.

We bought several tens of thousands of dollars worth of Panda windows for a home renovation in NYC. To make a long story short, Panda windows are low quality, over-priced, badly-designed windows. While they are spec'd for cold climates, our windows were drafty and would not shut properly. Customer service was awful, and the company does not stand behind it's work. They tried to blame us for not using a Panda-certified installer -- Well, after several phone calls to the office, they finally admitted they didn't have a certified installer in the New York area we could have used

I never complain. I'm afraid of Karma. I'm a restaurant owner, I realize I am an open target if someone is dissatisfied, so it takes a lot for me to complain about someone else. But in this case, they deserve all the bad rap they get.
I bought sliding doors for my restaurant, and I even bought french doors for my home. I spent well over $20k. The amount I spent should not have any bearing on anything, but since they have no concern for customer satisfaction, I felt I needed to mention this.

I have used their custom door products. Smooth as can be if installed correctly, and the opening is properly prepared. Otherwise, like any other system, it will malfunction. My advise, pay the money to trusted GC's and listen to structural engineers. It will save you a lot of headaches in the future.
I recommended this to people I know, and some have actually bought a door or two. For the price, its worth it. Learn to listen, read and execute the shop drawings properly, don't cut corners, and voila, you will have the best door systems you can afford.

Do not order doors from this company under any circumstances. After they received my payment of $13k they stopped returning my calls. The door panels I finally received were not operable and after a year of threatening legal action via voicemail, I finally received only 2 replacement panels that were even worse than the originals. The engineering on their product is second rate and I would avoid them at all costs!
