Michelle's interior design career began in a slightly unconventional way. After completing a design project for a family member in 2000 a part-time design business developed. A few years later after careful consideration, she left a long term career in insurance to complete an interior design degree and fully focus efforts in the design field.
MFD creates up to date, functional spaces for multi-family properties, retail and professional office spaces. Creating one of a kind environments and working with a variety of budgets is our specialty. Services include all phases of the design process from space planning, material and finish selections to installation of furniture, art and accessories.

After a thorough corporate selection and interview process, we hired Michelle Ford of Michelle Ford Designs to develop the design prototype for our 30 retail locations. It was a formidable task for a designer because some things were a given, such as our trademark unique and bold color! Also, each retail location varied in type and style from the next; she was not dealing with cookie cutter retail stores! It was up to her to give us a “look” on a budget, and she pulled it off beautifully!

Our home sold very quickly thanks to Michelle Ford of Michelle Ford Designs and her fabulous staging skills. It was amazing to watch her work! She walked in, assessed our home and very quickly had a vision of what should be showcased and how to incorporate the items we already had in our residence to accentuate those areas.
