With a degrees in Horticulture and a burning desire to beautify the world around me, I joined my husband's grass cutting business and slowly began contributing to design and installation. I took over running the installation division a few years later and gradually spent more and more of my time creating art with stone, plants and wood.
Over the years, I have enjoyed growing my knowledge base and building relationships with clients, vendors and my family of employees. I hold two Ornamental Horticulture degrees and am erosion control certified. Shady Grove has installed thousands of designs, water features, stone walls, patios, and fire pits.

Fern is a joy to work with. I gave her some preferences and a budget and asked her to choose some plants to replace some ugly shrubs at the front of our yard along the street, and she nailed it. I wanted a little color, plants that are easy to care for (I am NOT a green thumb), and curb appeal, and she delivered on all counts. She also came by when her crew was finished and educated us on the different plants and how to care for them. I was so pleased, and still am. It has been a few months since they were planted, and everything is so beautiful. I can't wait to save up some more cash and find

Fern was amazing to work with! She was very creative in her ideas, and she tried very hard to work within our budget. She met with us several times to ensure we were getting what we wanted, and she was always available. The project went smoothly from start to finish, and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. Highly recommend!

After years of living in our home we finally are enjoying our back yard with our beautiful new living space. We owe this to the great work that Danny and his team did. Him and his team worked closely with my husband and I and made our outdoor vision a reality. The service was great and very professional. I can't wait to start on the landscaping project with Fern to make my yard as beautiful as the new deck and screened in room.

We were very pleased with Shady Grove Landscape Company. It all started with Vern coming out to talk with us regarding our landscaping problems. She was wonderful and seemed to understand our needs - she was so patient with us and put everything in writing with pictures. Her husband, Danny and his workers were great. All were so polite and professional. Everything was done as promised and no surprises with the cost. We love our new wall, our new fence, our great cement pad, the new shrubbery, our rock walls, flower beds, sod, and more. Very, very pleased!!!

Shady Grove worked closely with me before I put my house up for sale. Tina did a fabulous job of designing some low cost ideas for greatly improving the curb appeal of the house. The job was done on time, professionally managed, cleaned up perfectly and most importantly it greatly improved the curb appeal of the house.
