We discussed the repair needed and I gave permission to fix whatever else was broken.

Beyond the snapped cables, they replaced the broken springs and nylon wheels and showed all the parts. They even recycled whatever they could. And without charge, they adjusted the opener cable and sensors that had been affected by the uneven operation of the broken door. I highly recommend this company and their technicians.
