I Called AC Hero because we have two AC units and the smaller one seemed to be running constantly during a 117° heat wave. I was not sure if it was just undersized for that side of our house, or if it was low on freon. It is also about 16 years old so I wanted an estimate to replace it with a 1/2 ton bigger unit.

This was the second time servicing my AC without a home warranty. My AC has had a lot of issues and it's the 4th time in the past year that I have had a repair. With the home warranty it was a few days guaranteed without AC or Heat, while they processed and finished the repair. When I messaged AC hero on Yelp it was 4 pm on a Saturday. By 6 PM THE SAME DAY they had a technician at my home, making a repair. Turns out the Control board the my Home warranty "replaced" in February of this year, was not a new board. We had a very good experience with this company. My husband and I decided to set-up a mini-split airconditioner in our garage as we have items in there that may be compromised during the heat of summer. We got several quotations and we chose them because they are easy to talk to and the cost of labor and materials is reasonable. Also, they were recommended by our good electrician (George of Central Power, who we also highly recommend) who closely works with them. Love them! Honest, responsive and overall a great price too! Replaced my blower because it broke. a couple of months later, the compressor went next. Their price to purchase and install from them was already ridiculously cheap enough. However, because I found a way to purchase a comparable unit from one of the chain stores, they were still willing to work with me to pick it up and install it.
The 3 other companies charged me over $10K! I paid half of that for the unit and install! I recommend David and AC Hero. Hard to get companies like this these days out there.

AC Hero installed both my home AC Units just over a month ago. I can't say enough good things about David and Alex whom own this company!

I called ac hero later in the afternoon when everyone else was too busy or closed already. They were very pleasant on the phone and Javier showed up in 30 minutes. It was hot and humid and temps rose fast in my home. Javier was very pleasant, fast and knowledgeable. He had my ac working immediately! Low freon. Thank you all for your prompt and quick response!

Wow! Wish I could give 10 Stars this company crushed it. I'm a small business owner with 4 stores around the state. I've had nightmare experiences with HVAC people and units. Our peer just went out at our Fingerprinting Express E. Flamingo Store and it's 110 out. This building is old AF and so's the Commerical unit that's on its last leg. I'm thinking worst case scenario it's $20,000 to replace. We called 3 A/C places each one was more painful than the other. My upstairs unit stopped blowing cold air. I slept downstairs for the night and woke up at 7:00 am when I put in a quote request with six A/C companies in the area. All I have to say about Ac Hero is that they have the best customer service I have ever seen. I was working with another company were our installer quit and I had lots of ac installs pending I called Ac Hero and quickly Alejandra was able to help me added my installs to their schedule. Customers were very happy with them on how quickly they finished install with no issues. Very polite and easy to work with. My AC stopped working despite being a newer system and I was referred to AC hero by my sister, I spoke with Alejandra and she was able to set me up with an appointment Monday morning. The technician Casey found the problem very quickly. He showed me the part that needed to be replaced and had everything he needed. I'd say he had it fixed within 30 minutes. Thank you AC Hero for being our hero! Our upstairs AC started leaking through my office ceiling and I reached out to my home warranty company. They sent two different shady companies, one that said it just needed cleaned and one that said the coil was rotten and needed replaced for $2800. The home warranty denied the claim because they said it was rotten due to misuse. So I called AC hero and they found the problem and replaced a few pipes the same day, did some maintenance on it and everything was working and leak free within 30 minutes.

We had a ripoff experience today!
Our fire alarm can not be reset cause loud noises since from yesterday late evening.
Around 10:20am today, I just knew My current AC company can not come in until one hour later so property mgmt Company recommended AC hero. I called AC hero and a lady answered the phone.
After property management tech explained the issue to her, I asked her how much to fix the issue and she quoted me is $95. I also asked how soon your tech could come in because my current AC company will take at least one hour to arrive and it is very noisy in the office now!
She told me

So, these guys are the most knowledgeable and HONEST AC guys I have met here in Vegas. I have a home warranty and my Master Bedroom AC stopped working. I called my home warranty company and they sent out the this Fraud AC Company who told me my reversing Valve was bad, which they wanted to bill my home warranty 672.00 for changing (which was covered by my warranty) and then charge ME 900.00 to put new old style R22 freon in.
