We fix your refrigerator when it is leaking water, ice maker isn't working, frosted up, insufficient cooling, lights not turning on, icing up, uneven temperatures, or has erratic performance. Johnson City Appliance Repair provides In-Home diagnostics, repair, and excellent customer service. We are here when you need us because we know how inconvenient and frustrating it is to have an appliance that you rely on daily to stop working properly.

Being a small family company based in the Tri-Cities, we work hard to respond quickly and are here to serve You. We help by taking care of the inconvenience of a failed appliance so you can go about your daily routine. Most repairs can be made in 1 trip and our process is set up to be fast and efficient for your convenience.

After we examine your appliance, we discuss the total cost to repair, what repair options are available, and let you decide whether a repair is worth-while. We are here to serve and support your family. Our goal is to treat you in such a way that you are eager to let a friend know about us when they are having a problem.

Critical: Responsiveness
Came out to house, charged the $75.00 service fee, was told part would be ordered but now no one will reply to my emails or return my calls about if the part was in yet. It's been a month now. Would not use this company again. Nor would I recommend them.

Awful.
Never showed up!
-They gave me a FIVE HOUR (12pm-5pm) window last Friday (11/19/2021) for when someone would arrive to fix my washing machine, so I TOOK OFF WORK to be home.
-I called them twice to confirm they’d be coming (once at 11:55am, then 4pm), and I was told yes both times, and both times they confirmed my phone # and address.
-At 5:01pm I called again and received an out-of-office message stating the business was closed for the weekend.
Thank you, JCAR, for having me take a half-day off work, during a busy season, for nothing. And for a washing machine which is still broken

(They arrived Sept. 14th at 3pm)Very disappointed in the service that I received and was told to go by new washer when it really was a $60 fix. Was also told by the Tech certain local companies not to use because they use "older parts" on their appliances that took less than 1 hr by another company. Also reached out to the owner (business owner to business owner)to explain the concern and didn't explain the concern and never received a response. Will take my business elsewhere .

Reached out online and received a quick reply within hours. Spoke with a man on the phone who stated there was a $75 diagnostic fee which would be included in the final price of the repair. Repair man was there that afternoon. He was courteous but when he was trying to run the diagnostics mode he had (mistakingly or intentionally) unplugged the machine and stated he could not even get it to run the test. He quoted a price to replace the main control board on top of the $75 consultation fee, which was entirely the opposite from what I was told on the phone earlier in the day by the other gentleman
