I have a whirlpool microwave that the glass door spontaneously shattered on (hard to believe, I know) Long story short, they did not want to pay for the door even though if was of no fault of ours that the glass busted. American appliance was their contracted company that came out, diagnosed, ordered, and fixed the door. My technician was wonderful. He advocated for me to whirlpool saying the incident was clearly spontaneous. He spoke to them until he was finally able to convince them to pay for diagnosis, labor, and the physical door which would have cost me hundreds of dollars. I didn’t have

Dustin came out today to check on an issue with our stove/oven. He was prompt, courteous, professional, and safe (wore his mask the entire time he was in our home!). He pinpointed the problem quickly and thoroughly explained what happened and our options and pricing. Unfortunately, we really killed our oven, so we will have to replace instead of repair. Tech was prompt, professional, and efficient. Our freezer was frozen up and the issue was fixed in minutes! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the service call was $217 for less than 30 minutes of work, which I felt was a bit steep. I was happy to have everything fixed, however.
