All kitchen and bathroom remodeling companies have to make a choice. Or they can do what Jericho does. And while remodeling contractors in Kansas City, unfortunately, choose the "close enough" route, Jericho has committed to the highest standards of service and installation. We always, always, ALWAYS do it the RIGHT WAY.
A lot of people said it couldn't be done. They claimed that you couldn't grow a kitchen and bath remodeling company into something large and successful, all the while still maintaining the absolute highest standards for craftsmanship and professional service. I can confidently say: the people that said that were wrong, and my company has flat-out proven it.
We're very careful about who we hire to remodel kitchens and bathrooms. VERY CAREFUL. And we're not just talking about background and drug tests, although we insist on both. We typically interview AT LEAST 20 people for every 1 hire we make, which means that less than 5% of prospective hires are allowed to join our elite team.
Many Kansas City kitchen and bath contractors choose to use sub-contractors to install a remodeling project. When a remodeling company uses sub-contractors, it is impossible to enforce quality control and workmanship standards. Sub-contractors are simply not supervised and regulated to the same level as a kitchen and bath company that hires and employs their own installers.
It's both shocking and surprisingly common. We hear from Kansas City homeowners all the time about kitchen and bath remodeling companies that come out to their home to talk about their project and then don't follow through. The Project Manager-Mike-was excellent to work with. He ensured everything was done and done well. Charlie filled in when needed and provided expert advice--very patient. Christina managed to age and stain my islands with a custom color...based on a little picture...off the internet. Amazing. The final product was high quality. This company used custom cabinet makers, outstanding floor refinishers, and friendly folks all around. They are very responsive and made sure this customer was happy. Thanks!

I scheduled an appointment for a design consultation for a kitchen remodel. Was quoted 2x the price of what other companies said it would cost (while touting vinyl flooring and backer board as upgrades). The man who came to my home only seemed to want to speak to my husband, my husband commented on that when he left.. I am the homeowner. Just not a good experience, save your time.

Our old beat up and tired 1990's kitchen was transformed into a modern kitchen by Jericho. Our installer David made the process of the project so easy. Great communicator, great professional, worked hard and was amazingly quiet. He was on time every day. The attention to detail of his installation of the backsplash tile was awesome. The company was very professional. I met with Chad to get a price quote for remodeling the shower and adding glass cabinets to the kitchen. Chad was great throughout the process. Preston was the project manager and explained to me how the work would be preformed. Preston was great with explaining everything to me and helping me to understand what to expect throughout the process. Evan actually did the work and he was absolutely amazing. I am very happy with the work that was donee. I will be using them again next year for another project.

Jericho completely remodeled our 60 year old kitchen and we love the finished product. Will and Anthony were part of our lives for weeks. They were consistently excellent at their work. They always showed up with a smile and worked hard. Kim Kesterson kept us informed and answered our questions promptly. Dylan from Miller Cabinets helped us design new cabinets. We requested a complete kitchen remodel quote from Jericho. The estimator arrived – a fast talking and glib man – who asked some questions and took cursory measurements. After entering information in his laptop, he (without showing us anything) gave us a quote of “around $70,000.” We had added removing a non-load-bearing pony wall to the estimate. We asked what it would cost if we took out the wall removal portion of the quote. He said, “$64,000.” $64,000 for a 11’ x 10’ kitchen with NO appliances included in the quote. We love the transformation Jericho provided with a remodeled kitchen and hardwood floors in several rooms. The final look of the kitchen, living room, and entryway exceeded our expectations. Our Project Manager, Mike, was good to work with; and our Installer, Dave, was awesome. Dave was professional, respectful, kept me informed, and had great attention to detail. At the end of each day, the area was completely cleaned up so we wouldn't track dust throughout the house.

We have used Jericho for two bathroom projects. Both were done in a professional manner and we are absolutely satisfied. The latest job was managed by Preston Jamison and the work actually done by Mason Herrington. Mason did a great job. Both are very good at what they do and they see to it that Jericho performs the work as agreed to and the customer is satisfied. We are very happy we used them. If we have any issues in the future, we will feel very comfortable contacting them about it.
