I'm a general contractor. My glass subcontractor retired and I had to find someone to take over that specialty. I had purchased some materials from Economy Glass over the years, and knew they had been around for a long time, so I asked them to install a shower enclosure and a bathroom mirror. Before the work started , I asked them if they had clean drop cloths to protect the new tile floor in the bathroom. I told them if they didn't, that I would furnish them. Great great company!!! I was referred to them by my locksmith to fix my herculating doors from the Stone Age... these were iffy,.. do I need new closers, new swings, or just an adjustment.... the whole staff is knowledgeable and courteous.
They forewarned me about all possibilities and outcomes of the repair before hand... lucky enough I got lucky and only adjustments needed.
Now I got my repair company for my doors :). Thank you all at economy glass! Great work!

Originally, my wife called and left a message inquiring about whether or not they sell custom mirrors. I don't remember exactly how long it took for them to call back, but it wasn't quick-- about 5-6 days. We had actually given up on them, but when they called, she ended up placing an order.
They gave us a date to pick it up, about a week in the future. Since they close pretty early, I left work early on the designated date, but when I showed up it turned out the order was never put in. The guy just forgot. I stood around for 20 minutes while they

Our company recently reached out to this vendor to have a hole cut in some wired glass.
Right from the beginning, it was a pleasant experience dealing with Jeff & his staff. The work was completed in the specified period of time at the price that was quoted. Our Maintenance person that brought the glass back & forth to the company said that they were very helpful & pleasant to deal with.
All in all, a great experience with this vendor. It's important to share good experiences with other Yelpers. :)

Called economy glass as I had a frameless shower door pull away from the wall. Economy called me back, showed up on time. Chris explained that the my door was installed not done properly. He only wanted to install the way that the door should've been in the beginning.
His workers showed up on time, completed the job, left everything clean and spotless.

Worst customer service I've yet encountered. The only reason I added a star is because in the end, we got the glass we ordered and it was fine.
Basically, Jeff measured our template incorrectly and we got a piece of glass that was too big. Not only did he measure incorrectly but the template was not even sent to their vendor, Liberty, to use as a standard. To add insult to injury, when they got the glass in, no one held it up to the finished item, so the project was given zero due diligence. Mistakes happen, fine, and had the customer service follow up on this been good, they could have

We have dealt with them many times over the last 25 years, always with complete satisfaction. Always well done, always at a fair and reasonable price, and on time. This time it was just a small job of creating replacements of 3 metal shelves in a bathroom medicine cabinet with glass ones - rounded edges and polished front edge. Perfectly done and fitted. The last one was an emergency visit to our son's business in West LA during a storm with a knocked-out window. I love knowing this business exists.

Used Economy Glass for a shower door installation. They made so many comments about how great they are. Yet, the flimsy shower door worked once before breaking. Their telephone follow-up was abysmal. Email follow-up even worse. Would never recommend. I would gladly, gladly pay more for quality product and service.
I will say -- they did eventually come to repair the faulty door, but it took multiple phone calls (after emails went unanswered).

Glass was cut correctly. When I picked up product in store, of course glass was filthy and had about 30 1"X1" cork protective squares. After taking glass home and polishing with windex I noticed a nick about one third of the length of the glass in the center area. I am a bit frustrated because I really did not want to bring it back. Glass measures 5' X 20" X 3/8" Grey, (Annealed / Non-Safety glass) Flat Polished edges.

I hired ECONOMY GLASS COMPANY WEST and they were wonderful! They called an hour ahead to confirm the time. Showed up on time. Did an amazing, perfect job. Charged what they quoted me and left the property with the job done perfectly and the area neat and tidy. The two glass guys were cheerful and handled my broken glass issue with obvious expertise.

I called 4 other glass companies. I am a contractor and needed an estimate on a commercial job right away. No one wanted to drive to the job site and look that the job but Economy Glass. They put me on the schedule, came out in a timely fashion,gave me a fair quote. My biggest plus for this company.. The came to the job site.. No other glass company would..
