Having worked with contractors in another city in FL and another state, I feel I know a good contractor when I deal with one. Finding an honest contractor in Tampa is challenging. I feel I was quoted a fair price in comparison with others that think they will get rich off of one job. The crew showed up at the right time and place, the workmanship was excellent and the roof is beautiful.

Richard and his team just finished our roof and we could not be more happy! The quoting process was simple, he was on time with everything he promised. His work crew was prompt, professional and they cleaned up everything. In Florida our biggest concern was rain, and we had a few showers, but his team saw it coming and covered the roof so no water got into our home. Great communication throughout the process and our roof is beautiful!

Two years and $10,000 years later, nothing but leaks! I had hoped my metal roof would last longer than two years. If I knew how to post pictures here I would post them. I wanted to love this company and my roof but I don’t love water pouring into my house. It should be called Gold Leak Roofing.

Very good experience with Richard and company. Their pricing is much more reasonable than most and they are up front and honest. Communication throughout the entire process was good and was willing to answer any questions or concerns I had. The construction team worked hard the entire time and made short work of my roof job. Once it was all completed I had no issues and they did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. This is something you shouldn't have to do often if done right so I would 100% recommend this company.

He was very professional and went over every option and the advantages and disadvantages of choices as well as the process he would use from start to finish. I'm writing this review a bit late, but it was worth the wait. Just as the news outlets started reporting that in a week Tampa would possibly be hit by the largest and most intense Atlantic hurricane on record, we awoke to discover a good sized water stain on the ceiling of our one story house in Carrollwood. The roof had been re-done only a year earlier (all new shingles and plywood under-panels replaced as necessary, for $14,000) but the contractor did such a bad job on everything else that we did not want him back in our house to honor the warranty on his roof work.

Update: I've been contacted by the manager of this company. He states that they opened in 2014 and the old business under the same name closed in 2011. He did offer to make my roof repairs at cost.
I do appreciate that offer, although not needed at the moment, and considering his prompt and courteous reply to a problem that doesn't appear to be his, I'm updating my stars to reflect a five star rating.
We had a new roof put on by Gold Seal about 7 years ago. Turns out they didn't replace our chimney flashing. Now I have wood repairs to make, and thousands of dollars to replace

Richard was able to squeeze a time sensitive project of mine into their schedule during the time the hurricane hit Florida. Every roofing contractor was very busy from all the flooding and I just happened upon Gold Seal. My intention was to just get a shingle roof, but after a discussion with Richard, a metal roof (which I had seen on other homes and loved) was a very affordable option. They had completed my project in 2 days total, but it was over a 5 day period, due to the wait on the metal. The roof looks great, passed inspections, and helped to get my house under contract in one business day

What kind of a roofing company decides that they are not interested in fixing your roof? I called them three weeks ago and he tells me that they are too busy. I called them back today and they tell me that someone came out but no one was home. They never called me back so I am shaking my head. and now they don't want the job. What is a homeowner to do with this kind of irresponsible customer service?

We used Gold Seal on our commercial building. WOW! Talk about impressed. From start to finish our roof was complete in 3 days ! Gold seal went above and beyond.
