Whether you are in the preliminary phase and need conceptual site design ideas or you are ready to start construction, D.C. Foote, Inc. will work with you in a professional, creative and confidential manner. D.C. Foote, Inc. will meet with the proposed clients at our office to review, discuss and answer any questions they may have.
We provide residential drafting and design services through complete project continuity for single family, wood-framed dwellings and commercial tenant improvements. We handle the planning and zoning permits and provide extremely accurate drawings to expedite the design process. Our projects range in size and character.
As a casualty of the Malibu Wildfires of 2018, a modest two-story home was lost, burned to the ground. The owner was determined to rebuild and contacted DC Foote for new drawings and permits. Within six months we prepared the drawings, and consulted with a broad range of engineers: structural engineer, civil engineer, landscape architect, energy engineer, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineers.
Most projects are based upon the traditional three phase design program on a written fixed fee or hourly rate with a not to exceed cost indicating what you may expect to pay for our services. As every project is truly unique, an initial free consultation is held to determine the general scope of the project.

Thank you to David! He absolutely saved the day! The former architect from Architect Design Group Inc. spent an entire 15 minutes with us to understand what we wanted. David on the other hand spent an inordinate amount of time discussing the project to insure all details were included. If you are looking for an architect that cares David is the one. No matter if the job is big or small he treats you the sam. We ran into him at the grocery stores. He made a point of saying hello. So the relationship goes beyond the end of the job.

Just want to say thanks to DC Foote & Associates for taking over a job that another architect failed . Without David's help and knowledge I would be sitting here with a disaster. David came over step in and said no big deal. After spending many hours at the city because of the previous architect, when David finished up with the plans it was a one trip to the city and that was it. (SMOOTH SAILING AFTER THAT) Thanks David for your help and compassion

I've been doing some video work for DC Foote & associates for about a month now and have been getting to know the owner and staff that work there as well. I have done a few testimonials and interviews from some of their clients and just hearing/ seeing some of the extraordinary things their clients have been showing/saying about the work DC Foote has done is pretty impressive. I've been to some of the homes/businesses and checked out the designs and I must say, when it comes time to design my home I definitely want to get mine designed by Dave.
