Artist and designer Dard Hunter (1883 - 1966) was perhaps best known for his contributions to the work of papermaking, authoring 20 books on the subject (eight of which were printed by hand). His Mountain House Press is the inspiration behind Dard Hunter Studios, a business venture dedicated to raising the awareness of the contributions made by Dard Hunter throughout his lifetime.

These heirloom quality Arts and Crafts Style clocks are crafted with the greatest care and the finest hardwoods.
The frames we offer are handmade by master craftsmen at the Dard Hunter Studio in Chillicothe Ohio. Dard Hunter uses only quarter sawn white oak because of its durability and the beautiful grain patterns. Each board is hand selected to ensure that your frame will possess a unique and naturally beautiful ray flake pattern.

All of our fine Schlabaugh and Sons Wood Clocks and Lamps are handmade in the USA by the Schlabaugh crew in Kalona, Iowa. Mark, John, and their father, Emil, established Schlabaugh & Sons Fine Woodwork in 1981. These heirloom quality clocks are constructed using only the finest imported hard wood and old world craftsmanship.
