When your home is exposed to black water either through sewage backup, toilet backup, or sewer leak; special measures are required. This type of water damage is considered as category 3, black water damage. Unlike clean water, sewage damage is a biohazard "grossly contaminated and can contain pathogenic, toxigenic or other harmful agents".
No, We do not offer re-construction service. We specialize in the mold remediation and water damage mitigation part of the work. You might need general contractor or handyman for the re-construction, if demolition is part of the scope of work. We are using the Disinfectant, Fungicide, IAQ 2000, which is an EPA approved.

I had a reoccurring problem with black mold that reappeared after other people tried to get rid of it. When Swift Restoration worked on the problem they really had an outstanding result. It has been 3 months and the mold has not come back. I am supper happy and my wife is finally happy with the choice of the company I made.

Due to a renovation mishap, one of the toilets in one of the bathrooms leaked from the base into the wall behind the toilet, and black and green mold developed. I tried doing mold remediation by myself, and I had an independent lab test performed in the problematic area to see how well I took care of the problem. There were mold spores detected in the air because I didn't properly clean the area.

I give 5 stars for the kindness & care provided when I called for help. I told of our situation and he said they are about 10 days out and we should not wait but he knew of someone else I should call that he's worked with and had very good experience with. How great it that?!

After the recent rains, I saw a grey blotch on my white carpet against a wall on the second story. It was still damp and I feared the worst. After searching the internet, I happened upon Swift, via Yelp. I reached Michael. Although in San Jose, he came out to Danville within a couple days and methodically and thoroughly diagnosed while explaining everything. Thankfully, he found no leaks...someone in my household must have spilled a glass of water and thought nothing of it as it was under a hamper! When I got my checkbook out, Michael said, "no charge". With all the 5-star ratings, one might think this company is too good to be true. Lucky me, I believed the reviewers and placed a call to Michael. We've had a problem here for months and have been at a loss to find the source, let alone a solution. After sharing what we have experienced, Michael crawled under our house to examine the crawlspace. He found nothing obviously wrong, but had several suggestions. We will try some of these suggestions ourselves (Swift does not do the type of work he suggested) to see if the issue resolves. If not, Michael recommended other businesses that supply

We had a major roof leak as a result of the recent storm. Walls and ceiling were completely wet. Carpets and hardwood floor got wet as well. We had a lot of water to remove from the bedrooms and living room. Swift Restoration were first to arrive and had the best price. They are professional, always on time, and such a great people to be around and count on. They did everything they said and even more. Didn't try to charge for more or take advantage of us. I will recommend these guys to anyone in this kind of crisis. Stop look around. Go with Swift!

I had to do a small fix as a result of a leak (leak is a compliment to that thing) and I called the company talked to a guy called Micki (I'm probably writing it wrong). He gave me all the info needed, came over, did the assessment and did a faboulase job! I hope I will never need them again but if I do they will defiantly be the right company to get the work done in a professional way and in reasonable cost! Highly recommended!

My family just bought a house in Milpitas, the inspection report said the crawl space was moist, but never mention any leak. The tenant just told us there was a strong musty smell around the kitchen. He said it came out from the sink. We had our contractor to look at it. There was a leak from the kitchen from the wall. There were water went under the crawl space and smell like musty. The leak has been there for a while.

I'm so glad that I called Swift Restoration today. I saw a review in Swift Restoration in SF that they actually do have a location in San Jose because the names are very similar on yelp and I was confused. (Michael said yelp doesn't let them to put the same name but calling SF location would also work.) I called around 3 and Michael stopped by within 15 mins. He is really friendly and honest. Called and told Michael, who answered, that I had an issue with mold in one of the rooms in my home and that I would like somebody to come out and take a look. He hesitated for a moment and then said he was sorry but he was completely booked up and that I should call another company (no referral).

With all the great reviews I was a little skeptic about making the initial call, Micheal answered and was here all ready to check it out the same day. I found out that I have some mold issues in my basement and needed to fix the problem ASAP. I understood that it's no joke and I was lucky to have called when I did. Swift restoration were great, They came by and checked it all out without even charging me for the inspection and gave me all the details I needed for the process, most companies will charge for just a visit. Michael is just the kind of person you need in a leaky bathroom situation! I called to get an estimate, and not only did he pick up the call, he scheduled an appointment for later that same day! Off to a great start.

Thanks YELP for providing consumers with this tool - who would you call without knowing someone who has done this - and most people don't! I read all the reviews in this category, and Swift stood out as very trustworthy and professional. That is exactly what I found - Michael came out, super helpful - no mold luckily! - but he also gave us some really solid advice as to what may be causing the funky odor at our second home.

I have known Ido, the owner of Swift Restoration, for a few years since when I worked for a fancy property management company in San Francisco, and Ido worked under a boss with a different mold restoration company. I now live in Monterey and there was a horrible case of burst pipes/mold in my rental house; and landlord ignored it. These guys are quick and they get the job done right! We have a mold problem in our apartment and they were able to get rid of those bad boys for a very reasonable price. Better than other places we consulted. They also did a great job cleaning our carpet and getting the pet odors out, something our previous professional carpet cleaner was unable to do.
