My name is Walter Argueta, I am a Tile and Stone Contractor. In 2008 I started working in the tile installation field and I learned new skills. In 2010 I started working with Olderbak Tile Inc. as a tile setter. I learned different methods for waterproofing, shower pans and drains. I have experience with different materials including ceramic, glass, marble, porcelain, mosaic, etc.
After eight years of experience I decided to apply for a contractor license. Bay Tile Inc. was created in 2017. Bay Tile Inc. started work in the Bay Area, San Francisco, Marin county and Sonoma county. In 2018 Bay Tile Inc. has added business in the Sacramento area too. I am in the middle of a bathroom remodel and needed new tile for my floor. Walter responded to a quote request quickly. He was able to come out and look at the area, and then he sent me the quote in just a few days' time. I ended up paying a little more so he could demo my old floor (it was a combination of carpet and older tile) and he was able to accommodate that. He and one of his guys, Ramiro, did a great job prepping the subfloor, laying the tile and filling in the grout over three days' time. Made an appointment for 3-16 PM on 3-12 PM. Walter left me a voice message on 3-15 asking me to call. Called him and he did not even remember he called me. Needless to say, I cancelled the 3-16 appointment. Don't know if his tile work is any good or not, but he can't remember an appointment, I don't want to utilize his services.
