I have been with MacKenzie's for over 20-years and have a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge in the HVAC industry. Outside of work, you will commonly find me jogging or in front of a TV watching a Netflix series. Our company was opened as a part-time business and has grown to a full-time heating and cooling company, serving the New Hampshire Seacoast, Manchester Area, Southern Maine and Northeastern Massachusetts, employing more than ten full-time employees. Mackenzie Fuels specializes in the delivery of home heating fuel offering automatic and "will call" delivery. Automatic delivery allows MacKenzie Fuels to monitor and manage the supply of heating oil to your home or business. This is done by tracking your average usage and comparing it to the outdoor temperatures.

Very unhappy with the customer service. After oil wasn't delivered and needing a weekend fill,I was charged $180.00 for the delivery. I called to speak with someone and left a message for the owner. Never returned my call. In checking with other companies in the area, the typical fee is

I cannot recommend MacKenzie HVAC. A few years ago, when we purchased a home in NH, and noticed our central AC system was not working well we had them come onsite to evaluate and service our equipment.

They told us we should stop running the system immediately, and that it all needed to be replaced, was not serviceable.

Our system is a SEER10 system, and the proposed replacement was only SEER14. No big jump in efficiency. They wanted $14K for the replacement, as it would require a new external compressor, and high velocity air handler in a tight space in the attic.

I was disappointed in the service I received last Thursday, on cleaning my boiler for the season. The service tech.
did a good job, but spend more time then he had to, because he was on his phone in the truck half the time.

I would recommend these guys to everyone. Robert came out to do all the electrical work, James and MacKenzie installed the unit. I really couldn't be happier. They were timely, friendly, and professional. They even took time to be friendly with my cats. I seriously can't recommend them highly enough. The unit went in professionally within a few hours, they patched up all holes and cleaned up any mess, everything looks beautiful, and my place is now the perfect temperature everywhere. What more could one ask for?

I had Mackenzie heating and cooling come out Nov. 2018 to tune up my furnace for the season as I always do. I shop around for the best price but this season (2018-2019) I was having trouble finding anyone to do it before Christmas so I landed on Mackenzie heating and oil. to make this story as short as possible I'll tell you that within several days my furnace stopped running. Mackenzie sent the tech back out, he was here again after that. he got it running again but by the end of December it sounded funny so I took a look and found a filter thick with soot. MacKenzie installed a new furnace at our condo right before we purchased it and had we had several service calls in the first three years because the heat was not working. They would "fix" something under warranty but then something else would happen that was not covered and they charged us. We finally switched to another service two years ago and after the new company fixed the issue, we haven't had a single problem with the heat. My gas furnace died during the blizzard in early March. I called MacKenzie & they were there the next morning. Ryan diagnosed it as a cracked heat exchanger after running through many tests. This meant that I needed a new furnace. He gave me an estimate & said he could replace it the next day. I already knew that MacKenzie was excellent from when I had them install a ductless A/C unit for me a few years ago. The next day they were there at 8 a.m. & started removing the old furnace. 4 hours later I had a new 95% efficient gas furnace up & running. How do you beat that? I highly recommend

After several requests to speak to a manager, Carl called and explained that he had been on vacation. He defended the charges, arguing that they performed an additional "task" by pushing the relight button of my water heater pilot, during the process of diagnosing the reason that the pilot was out. I still disagree with his reasoning, but after reviewing my billing history and fifteen years of servicing all of the heating and cooling needs of our 3 unit condominium, he agreed to provide me a credit for the additional cost above the Service Call charge towards future annual service. MacKenzie installed our Burnham gas boiler in 2006 and we've been a member of their annual "maintenance" program since. Our problems began in 2010 when one of the connections developed a leak due to rotted fittings. We were surprised that such a new boiler would develop a leak, but it was repaired and largely forgotten. In 2013 a low water switch was replaced, and now, in 2014, there is both a new leak, in a different location, and failure of the replacement low water switch (fortunately still under warranty from 2013). In all, 3 of the last 4 years have seen significant problems

Well not sure where to start but I will try to keep it short. Mackenzie heating and cooling Seabrook NH had been servicing my gas boiler for the last 10-12 years. Not anymore!!!! Really started to go downhill 3 years ago when they took great advantage of us and really gouged us on the labor cost to replace my boiler that Buderus supplied as no charge warrantee replacement.

The techs had been pretty sharp and cordial; fortunately never saw much of them except at yearly service. In the last two years, it went downhill. Last year had to call them back to get the boiler running after they serviced

We had this company do work for us and the product they installed has never worked properly. When we had them come to fix it, even though it never worked properly, they charged us over $600 to correct the problem. Even then the product didn't work. We had to purchase a similar product from another company and we have never had a problem with it.
