Since she launched her career in 2016, clients have fallen in love with her work, growing her business almost exclusively by word of mouth. In her past life, Darla spent almost 20 years as a Detective Sergeant in Miami, Florida. The two careers are more similar than you may think. Of course, as an interior designer there are 100% fewer shots fired (well, maybe 99%).
Hiring an Interior Designer to help is an expense many people aren't exactly prepared for. It seems like you can figure things out on your own, but do yourself a favor and please hire Darla. I exhausted my resources (houzz, blogs, google) before hiring her and I should have done it months ago. Not only are she and her team a total delight to work with, she delivered.

We remodeled our kitchen with Darla and her team, and are so glad we chose to go with them. After much research, we decided to use DPI. Not only were they very professional, but they also delivered in a way we were satisfied with.
We were informed of all details and were kept with up-to-date progress each step of the way regarding our remodeling project. We certainly had ideas of how our kitchen will look, but DPI enhanced that vision.

We are so thankful that we decided to work with the DPI team on our Florida room remodel. They were sensitive to our needs and budget and designed a fresh solution that made our clunky Florida room add-on actually look purposeful and very cool. Darla's experience in home theatre design were very helpful. Since they are all animal lovers they also understood our particular pet design challenge. We, our dog, and even the teenagers love love love our new space. The construction and paint/plaster professionals/artists were highly skilled and worth waiting for. The team also helped us choose colors

Can't say enough about Darla. From start to finish, her and her team are complete professionals who get even the smallest details correct.
We remodeled our bathroom, and everything came out perfect. We were able to transform our bathroom from a partitioned mess of basic contractors items, to a wide-open plan (we had walls torn down, and can't even imagine how small our bathroom used to feel). Our bathroom was destroyed by a leak, and after the remediation company was done we were left with a wall-less room with nothing but studs. Darla was able to help us invision the beautiful bathroom we have

I loved working with Darla and her team and would highly recommend anyone looking for an interior designer who brings creativity but designs something that fits YOU and your style. I had a budget and I had my own ideas and opinions about what I wanted. Many designers blow the budget and force you into styles that don't fit your personality. Not Darla, she knew where to push and where to evolve her own creativity to fit my style and taste. She stayed within budget. I LOVE my bedroom. I highly recommend Darla.

When we decided to remodel the kitchen and floor of our home, a main consideration was whether to work with an interior designer or not. The main reason was the budget. We had worked with an interior designer in the past and were familiar with the process.
