I have been a customer of Bobby’s Spa & Pool since 1993. The company cleans my pool on a weekly basis and provides repair service on the pool equipment when required. The owner, Bobby Becucci, is a master pool repair technician who is honest and trustworthy. His pricing is fair and he delivers on time and as discussed.

I recently used Bobby to fix our laterals in the salt filter. He spent two days fixing a relatively simple problem. He had taken the pump apart to clean it out and after he left the motherboard on our pump burned out. Not only did he not take any responsibility for this, but after calling him twice to discuss, I received an email from the office manager claiming Bobby was too busy to talk to us. This after charging us close to $2000. This is my first yelp review because the customer service was so horrendous and I not only do i feel like he robbed us, but does not even have the dignity to

I saw the response to my review and some of it is not true. We wanted nothing for free. We did not buy a house with a pool not knowing how much it would cost for upkeep. We had it put in 43 years ago (since remodeled) and I took care of it myself the first 30 years. No one told me there was anything wrong with my pool sweep when it was removed, and it if you lost mine, you should have replaced it with new one, not some used loaner from another pool. He did tell us that his tech quit and he didn't know where our sweep was as an explanation.

Bobby turned out to be very knowledgeable and immediately pointed out specific conditions and what each indicated. He suggested I contact Leak Detection Pros to see if any pipes were leaking and showed me how to set up a simple bucket test to see, if my pool was leaking water.
He inspected our pool equipment and plumbing and came up with some very reasonable repairs for problems I did not know I had and showed me how I could do some of the work myself, if I wanted to save money.

I had a bad piece of equipment that was being replaced under warranty. The manufacturer paid for Bobby's to come out and swap out the parts. All the people I dealt with were friendly and communicated what was going to happen and when very well. David the technician was/is knowledgeable and figured out what the problem was. A service company that provides good service - what a concept.

Oh man, I wanted to LOVE Bobby's Pool Service as I only support locally owned businesses. Unfortunately, Bobby let me down. I made a 9:30am appointment for a pool inspection at a house I just purchased - 2 miles from Bobby's. No show at 9:45, so I called to confirm we were still on. The receptionist said "he's on his way now." No show at 10:05, so called again. Bobby answered this time and said he was headed down and only 3 minutes away. Bobby showed up at 10:30 - one hour late. There was no apology for being late, just an attitude and complaints about all his customers

This summer my pool looks superb! A neighbour recommended Bobbys Pool Service and I was very impressed with the knowledge of the owner, the good work of his maintenance people and the efficiency and friendliness of the office staff. For the first time since I moved in nearly nine years ago, my pool is trouble free and looks clean and clear. I have tried different companies over these years and no-one had pinpointed the cause of the constant problems I had had with the clarity of the water. Bobby did this immediately and solved it! His charges are fair and he works hard to get things right.
