So I am having trouble with my ac it's not blowing cold air so I contacted AHS and they sent air star service and I'll give them that they came quick within 5 hours of me putting the order they came but the first thing the service guy did when he got to my house was say that where i had the fillter located was wrong because is would be harder to charge and started to try and sale me a filter that would need to changed once a year. Then he went outside to check the unit and he changed two parts and then sayed that the problem was that it had a big leak and then he started to tell my husband that

Terry came out to service my HVAC this morning. I only called to schedule yesterday, so I really appreciate the prompt response! I really expected to have to wait at least a few days. I’m trying to sell a house, so I was definitely a difficult customer with an inspection report that had a number of tasks needed for the unit. He was so patient with me, and together we triple checked everything on the report. He was also very personable. I appreciate the service today, Terry!

Dinnertime Saturday, and had that sinking feeling when the house just got hotter and hotter, no matter how low we cranked the AC. With five pets, there wouldn't be a hotel or motel willing to take us, so we were going to be up a creek without help as the temp started rising fast in the Texas summer heat. I used Airstar through my Home Warranty (first time home warranty user) I was very suspect on the service and quality I was going to receive based on reviews I read from all of the warranty vendors. I chose Airstar and they did a really good job. My technician, Preston, was a 38 year veteran of the industry and was super honest and knowledgeable. He explained how working with the warranty company worked and set reasonable expectations. (note: working with warranty company you don't get same day service) Preston was great. I would definitely use them again. I just hope not anytime soon!

UPDATE since my 6/2/17 review: Home Warranty sent out another AC company and it WAS the evaporator coil and condenser unit. Home Warranty Co issued us a brand new evaporator and condenser unit. We finally have a new AC unit and cold air! 6 weeks of coming to our home and 4 technicians from AirStar and no one ever diagnosed it. DON'T USE this company!!!

I wish you could leave negative stars. I also wish I read the reviews. Made the mistake when condenser fan stopped. Had them make an after hours call. $149 for the call. Fine. I needed AC. Tech arrived pretty quick. Unit had a bad resistor. THEY CHARGED ME $313.00 for a $10 part. Beyond unethical. Price gouging. I will NEVER call this service again.

Airstar services was contracted through American home shield to repair my furnace. This was the beginning of my nightmare. 5 different techs, 1 Service manager, 20 visits, and 4 months later my furnace was in worse shape than before they ever stepped foot in my house due to their lack of knowledge, unprofessional attitude, and hodge podge attempts at repair. I was unable to stay at my house for multiple days due to their inability to repair. We just moved to our new home. The furnace failed and Daniel from Airstar came out to service and inspect. He was professional and prompt. it was determined I needed a new furnace and Scott and Larry came out to do the install. They arrived in the morning and within 3.5 hours we had a new furnace. They too were prompt, professional and neat. The install was perfect and they took great care to explain all the work. Although new to the state of Texas, Airstar is my #1 choice for all things Heating/Cooling. Thank you for the great service!

I've been a long time customer of Airstar..., and I never have had a bad experience at all with this company. I've personally dealt with Daniel every time my system has needed it's seasonal maintenance tune up, and this guy has ALWAYS been VERY helpful and informative when it came to any concern I might of had with my system that I had purchased from Airstar. Because of Daniel...I'll will ALWAYS be an Airstar customer as long as they keep providing AWESOME people like Daniel.

I have had Airstar to my home to make sure my ac and heat works properly for six years now and have always had a pleasant experience. They came recomended from one of my co-workers and I would not trade them for anything.
They actually invited my husband up into the attic and showed him what we were breathing, after a good cleaning of our unit we noticed the difference.

I also had a bad experience with this co. It seems as if you have a home warranty policy you are a bother !!! I had them come to my home and look at my ac and ask me if I wanted to " fix it or put a bandaid on it"? Well of course I wanted to repair it - after following the service tech out to her car to try to get some sort of prove she was even here - she gave me a copy of her thoughts basically - not the copy of all the " uncovered " stuff - she went back to the office and told them I refused the repairs - after a few days I called to find out when they planned to come fix

The service tech didn't even check our full AC system. He had a terrible attitude from the start, and he ended up passing it as an electrical problem. I accidentally took the checkbook with me so my husband told the guy he would need to run up to the ATM to get some money to pay him. He suddenly became very aggressive and angry and got in my husbands face. When he asked for his name and managers name to report
