The IDS National headquarters is located in High Point, NC, the world's home furnishings capital. My design style is typically modern with very clean lines and leaning towards minimalist, but as a designer I believe that, to be successful, one has to be a little bit of a chameleon, i.e. being able to adapt to your surroundings by including the client's own style i.e.

Moving back home to New York was a dream realized. Part of that plan was making my sure my newly purchased place was completely “done.” The process of searching for designers was unpleasant and left me feeling flat.

We worked with Charlie's Designs LLC on the interior design of our theater, located in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, from 2019 to 2020. During this time the team helped us choose the flooring, lighting, color schemes, carpet and all other aspects of our interior design project. Charlie is one-of-a-kind! I really appreciated his ability to be objective in a subjective industry - he doesn't inject his taste onto his clients. Charlie spent time getting to know me: how I live, what are my interests, what's my personality. This is very important when outsourcing design help to a total stranger! Additionally, Charlie has patience for people who only know 1/2 of what they want! He makes the rest come together, leaving your place looking like a beautiful piece of art.

When Charlie started working on my duplex apartment in January 2019, the brief was rather challenging, not least because of the unusual layout of the property, but also because of my particular requirement that the ultimate design could not only meet the needs of my pets but could also withstand their presence. I hired Charlie’s Designs to design my residence in New York City. I was moving into a new one bedroom apartment with mostly floor-to-ceiling windows, and the space needed a lot of creativity. Charlie was great to work with and made designing my home a fun and easy process. I had the BEST experience with Charlie. After interviewing several other designers and reviewing their work, I decided to go with Charlie to do my parents home. They had just done a huge renovation and we had no idea how decorate it. We had our black leather couches, white walls, and a few lamps in our living room.
