Services
Simply (and obviously) put, pianos are heavy. Most of the weight associated with a piano of any kind comes from the solid, cast iron harp; the core feature of the instrument that holds all of the strings in place. No matter what size piano, add to the harp a heavy wooden sound board and specialized wooden casing, thousands of mechanical parts made of various materials and along with a lot more.
This was Duffy & Hughes' crew in 1979. Pictured left to right is Joh M. Duffy III, Rodger Locker, Dennis Duffy, Bill Posley, Jim Duffy, Eddie Mays, (front) Harold. Both Uncle John (Right) and Tom Duffy (Left) keeping the trucks busy all day long working our of the office. Frank DiValerio and William "Milkshake" Allen were two great guys that worked with the Duffy's for years.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs their piano moved. Their three-man crew was punctual, professional, and very careful. They moved my piano safely and took great care to not damage our floors or walls in the process. From beginning to end the entire process was stress-free. 10/10!

I was very pleased with the team of three men who showed up from Duffy. They were on time, professional, and incredibly efficient; I believe they had the baby grand piano out of the apartment no more than ten minutes after they started working on it. Delivery was quick (it was a local delivery), and the recipient noted that the movers were similarly efficient and professional on his end. On top of all that, Duffy's price for the move was significantly less expensive than that of any other mover researched.

Duffy removed our piano from our home today. Every aspect of this move was professional, courteous, caring, sensitive, technically proficient, and highly responsive from start-to-finish. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. I had a confident feeling this would go well from the moment I first spoke by phone with a Duffy representative to understand their qualifications, process, and pricing. Amazing job! They moved an upright piano from a basement! They were timely and efficient. I was so utterly impressed at the speed at which they did the entire move.
