These guys were excellent, friendly, punctual, professional and gave me the best price of the six estimates I got. I had a new garage built on my property and my entire driveway was turned to dirt. I called several local paving companies and Bay State was the most affordable and professional!
They came right out, quoted me, and I hired them two weeks later. I’m so impressed with their quality and materials. After about two years all of my rain water slopes perfectly and I have no problems. As a bonus, they were done in one day.
Do not waste your time with other companies in Braintree; choose Bay State and you will be blown away!

Baystate Paving did an amazing job replacing my driveway and removing old sidewalk asphalt as part of a separate project. The results were perfect, and Bob and his staff made the planning process easy. They were professional, responsive, and accommodating of our schedule. They worked quickly but thoughtfully (helping us thinking through the placement of a basketball hoop and raising a paved area to avoid water in the basement). We got a number of quotes for the project and Baystate’s pricing was very competitive. My neighbors used Baystate as well with beautiful results. Highly recommend!

Bob and crew arrived on time. They went immediately to work as a team.Everyone knew what they were supposed to do.They worked quietly and quickly.They did a dynamic job and turned my modest property into an awesome one. Agreed by contract to remove concrete and then pave but once they started, said it was too much work to get the bigger pieces up and wouldn't do it. Then charged me an additional $400.00 over the contract price to finish by paving over the cement pieces they didnt get up. This left a ridge in the driveway. When I called to tell them about it, would not return my calls.

Had Joe and his crew out to pave our (previously) crushed stone driveway. He had previously come out to give us a quote, and discuss some of the issues w/our project. His quote was the lowest, so we hired them. They showed up today, on the day they said they would, and spent the full day grading and paving. All of the crew were very personable and professional, and they did an outstanding job.

We went with Bay State after seeing their driveway work in Quincy. My driveway easily fits nine cars. Bay State offered us three separate options based on our driveway size, all with reasonable prices.
We opted to go with a somewhat smaller, more shaped driveway. Bob and his team did an incredible, fast job. Ripped it up and put down a new asphalt driveway in no time. Very, very happy with the results. Our property value definitely just went up.

Not sure where my review lies so I've marked it 2 stars. They did a good job with the actual driveway. They came in costing more than some of the other local competition, but based on their usage (everyone on the south shore uses them), I figured they would be worth the cost. They extended the driveway, as per my request and did a good job with the actual driveway paving, however they lack the finer touches.

This company left a lasting impression on me and I must share my extreme dissatisfaction! Twice Bay State Paving scheduled appointments with me to excavate and pave my drive way. Twice the company never showed up --- wasting my time out of work. Their first excuse - "I passed by your street in the morning, you need to hire a police detail to block the street!" Why didn't you tell me that when you came over to do the appraisal?! Then Second excuse - "my trucks are not allowed on Gallivan Blvd." Again, why did you even take the job if your trucks are not permitted on Gallivan

Emailed them through their free quote form on their web site on 8/13. After hitting send, a message is generated saying someone will be in touch within 48 hours. It's now a week later and no one ever contacted me. I sent them a complaint email and again the response was complete silence...no contact and no apology. I told them to change their web site so it no longer promises a response in 48 hours. My driveway is about 75 x 26, not massive but not insignificant, well worth an estimate. It amazes me how some companies can openly demonstrate such a profound lack of respect for one's time
