Tyson's Heating & Air Conditioning

I texted Tyson Mechanical, requesting a service repair for a rental property I have at 10:38 am on Saturday morning, it was a cold day 30 degree temperature, and my tenants were complaining. The technician, called my tenant, went to the house, diagnosed the problem, repaired it and got the system working, left a message on my phone, letting me know that issue is resolved by 3:10 pm same day.

When I used them back in March 2019 it was just one person and it was called Tysons HVAC and it was an honest man who came to my house. I made a service call in November 2019 and it was a new company called AllTech services, I was extremely disappointed with the technician they sent out and the cost of the products were way overpriced. Probably need to find a new HVAC service provider.

Cannot say enough good things about this guy/service. Always nice, respectful, dependable, fair, honest, responsive. Either answers the phone or calls RIGHT back. Tries to fix your problem over the phone, if he can't only then offers services. 5 star plus company. And no, I'm not related- we laugh that we have the same (rare) name.

Tyson is a throwback true professional who does quality work, stands behind his products and is the best in Northern VA. Funny thing is EVERYONE who has had Tyson work in their homes recommends him. Give him a shot at your business, we did after asking neighbors bc quotes we were offered from others were so far out of whack we could swing and Tyson not only came in cheaper but with better equipment. Prompt, really friendly, great prices and great work. What more could you ask for from an HVAC company or anyone? Tyson's HVAC has all of this covered. I was skeptical when I began looking for someone to service my unit which is getting older. I was expecting someone to try to up sell me on a brand new system, but Tyson came in cleaned it up, checked the coolant and set me up for the long, hot summer. It runs better now than when I bought the place honestly. I can't recommend them enough.

Tyson's HVAC recently installed an Aprilaire 800 humidifier in our home in Aldie. Throughout the whole process he was very professional and polite and answered all of our questions. Great company. Very honest work. He replaced my hvac system last year. He came back out when there was a problem with it. The problem was with the vent on my roof and had nothing to do with the work he did, but he fixed where water had gotten into the furnace and told me how to fix the roof issue. He did not charge anything for this. I called him again because I was having problems with my water heater. I thought it would have to be replaced because it's pretty old and it came with the house. Tyson's HVAC is located in Leesburg and we live in Alexandria (Fairfax county). Last fall he made a business decision to provide maintenance and service only within Loudoun County. I was initially disappointed but I understood that providing service 40 miles away with traffic no longer made sense. But for a recent issue, Tyson was immediately available via phone to verify our warranty to the next service provider. This prevented me from paying $1200 for a service call!! Tyson is such a nice man. He is considerate and professional. He works quickly, efficiently, stays focused, and is very reasonably priced. These guys are awesome. Super reasonably priced, helped me last year with a very old air conditioner, then helped me again this year when I knew it needed to be replaced. They were very reasonable, honest, and quick to respond. Have had my new air conditioner for a month or so and everything is great and they were so quick. Would definitely use them again, and have recommended them to friends who have also liked them.

Scheduled service online and Tyson called within a few hours and was out the same day. Very honest when dealing with you, fair, and does not try to upsell you in any way. Would like to thank Tyson for coming out and fixing our furnace. The weather wasn't very pleasant and we were in desperate need for some heat. He was very professional and a true gentleman. Tyson and his crew are end to end professionals. They replaced our water heater earlier this year so I definitely wanted them back when we decided to replace our HVAC system. They showed up on time, and got right to work. First they removed all my old equipment but when it came time to install the new furnace they noticed it was damaged. They quickly got a new one from the warehouse and inspected before bringing it back to the house. My heroes! My husband had a heart attack on Saturday and was taken to the hospital. I came home from the hospital late Saturday night to discover the AC wasn't working. Just had to have my upstairs heat pump replaced. Tyson has been servicing both our upstairs and downstairs units for the past 4 or 5 years. When the upstairs unit was acting up over a weekend, he was quick to return our call and offered advice over the phone prior to scheduling a service call for later that morning. The replacement part was out of stock in Frederick, so he drove all the way up to Baltimore, and it was fixed by 10AM on Monday. Incredible service, professional, and fair pricing. We called Tyson to repair our A/C for our small business in Arlington. He diagnosed the problem and explained the options clearly. The compressor was "shorted" on this very old unit and he could perform a repair or replace the whole outdoor unit. He was very honest about the costs and allowed me to make the decision. He definitely is not out to overcharge on parts or sell you stuff you do not need. I decided to get a new outdoor unit and he had it completely done the next day saving my customers and employees from the heat wave at the time.

My wife and I received 2 estimates from other companies in the local area but after meeting him he was the unanimous choice. He was honest and trustworthy. We never felt like he was selling anything we didn't need. As opposed to the other companies we looked at, Tyson is the owner. This means that he handled every part of the transaction, including the installation and service in the future.
