First Team Construction Co., Inc. was started by Marvin E. Deen in 1997 as a general contracting company performing home, multi-family, and small commercial projects in the Auburn/Opelika area. A local to the Auburn area for many years and a 1986 graduate of Auburn University's Building Science program, Marvin quickly established a highly regarded reputation within the construction community.
In 1999, Greg W. Kiteley was brought in as President of the company. Also an area local and 1986 graduate of Auburn University's Building Science program, Greg led the company's profile expansion into the "hard bid" sector including school, administrative, and other government projects throughout the central and southern regions of the State of Alabama.
Since its incorporation, First Team Construction Co., Inc. has grown to have a successful bonding history with a current capacity of almost $80,000,000. First Team Construction Co., Inc. was ranked the 23rd largest Alabama contractor by Business Alabama Magazine for 2018.

I highly recommend First team construction. byron was the project manager for our master bathroom remodel and I was impressed with his communication. He checked in daily and kept me in the loop with every step of the remodel. All the workers who came out were very friendly, professional and trustworthy. There are always unexpected things that pop up during a remodel, but Justin and his crew always found a solution in a timely manner. We love our new bathroom!

First team Construction did a kitchen remodel for us through Home Depot. Every complex project will have problems and challenges. Byron and his crew took care of absolutely every issue and concern we raised. The crew consisted of experienced tradesmen who took care and pride in their work. Byron especially was outstanding through the entire project from start to finish and it gave me great comfort he was in charge of our project. We are 120% satisfied with the results of First team Construction's work. If you are looking for a quality construction company you don't need to look much further. If

I'm very happy with finished project. The quality of work is evident when you walk out on the deck. I enjoy sitting on the deck and can't help but notice the little finishing touches. First Team does excellent work and delivers what is contracted, even going the extra mile when concerns are expressed.
