It started when my Dad and I bought a house in my hometown of Manhasset, LI. He gave me his Sears charge card and suggested I buy every Craftsman tool in existence to become a carpenter. It was great advice. From those beginnings I have grown my business to creating custom homes for discerning buyers.
Being given the opportunity to create your own home is an exhilarating experience. Customized house design that features all the bells and whistles you want is a worthy investment in every respect. A custom designed home for you and your loved ones means you will have access to all the features, facilities and comforts you wish - dream living at its best.
But, primarily we design and collaborate with a very talented CAD Designer, Ed Buckingham. By designing and building projects without an architect, we remove the laborious, time consuming and expensive steps of the middleman. Then, our design and build collaboration is a very cost efficient, interactive and satisfying building process.
In order for a house to become a true home for its occupants, it must provide all the creature comforts and much more like plenty of living and storage space, functionality, privacy for everyone etc. Sometimes though, the average household basically outgrows the house they occupy. More children are born, in-laws move in, kids return home between jobs or after finishing university.

Michael Kenny started a project to redo the interior of my 2,000 sq. foot condo in Needham the day I closed on the purchase in 2015. Using a variety of sub-contractors the project moved along until coming to a stop just before the agreed upon completion date.
In speaking with the sub-contractors, I learned Mr. Kenny paid them for work on prior jobs with the money I paid him. Mr. Kenny was always eager to collect checks from me, even before the agreed upon milestones were completed (my mistake). He ran into financial difficulty and could not pay the sub-contractors who complained to me. I

Michael Kenny is a scam artist. He actually doesn't have a builder's license, and he is incapable of finishing a project in a reasonable timeframe with the appropriate sequencing of trades. We had to fire him after we finally purchased our current home after months of delays and finish the project ourselves. We have also heard from other people who are in our shoes! Avoid this guy- he is bad news!
