Pumping out your tank is very important to do. Do you find that your yard is a little bit soggy? Maybe your toilet is backing up. It is important to clean your tank out every 2 to 3 years to keep your drain field in good working order. Sometimes it can be problems within your tank like a broken baffle and by pumping it will give us a good opportunity to examine your system and give you a solution.
A standard cut down is by far the easiest and most cost effective drainfield available. On this drainfield you remove the topsoil and cut down to course soils then add stone and place piping and replace the dirt on top. The T trench style drainfield is used when there is sand found very deep and the heavy soil is cut out in a trench and then filled up with sand to allow the wastewater to dissipate.
Septic tanks take allot of abuse like salt from water softeners and soaps from day to day jobs around the our homes. This causes breakdown in our septic tanks called Microbial Induced Deterioration (see picture on left) Plastic septic tanks can reduce the chance of this happening and prevent premature tank failure.

Nate was amazing! He was so friendly and communicated with me often and professionally throughout the whole process.
We bought a new house a few months ago and Nate replaced our entire septic system: new drain field, 2 new septic tanks, and a new pump. We have used All Things Septic for our home and for our cottage, about 2 hours away. Nathan has been very professional, thorough, prompt, and honest. He has done good work for us, and when we had an emergency on Memorial Day weekend at our cottage, he came up without hesitation, on Memorial Day, to help us (that's two hours north on a holiday, away from family). He charges fairly for his work, and did not take advantage of the fact that we had an emergency or that it was a holiday. We will use his company again, and would highly recommend him.
