At Bernhardt's Remodeling Center we are proud to be Upstate New York's premier bath, kitchen, addition, wine cellar and specialty remodeling company for both residential and commercial projects. Established in Hemlock, New York in the early 1900s, Bernhardt Lumber founder Earl Bernhardt employed fine craftsmen from the region.
Bernhardt's Remodeling Center is a full-service remodeling company specializing in kitchens, bathrooms and additions. We also have extensive experience with wine cellars, walk-in closets, entertainment centers and home offices. Our creative designers will take you through each step of the design process and our qualified installers will make your dream a reality.
From start to finish, my experience with Todd and the Bernhardt's team has been top notch. I have been in my home for over a month and couldn't be happier. The project was done on time, on budget and their communication at every step was outstanding. I feel fortunate to have worked with them and hope I get to do so again in the future.

You meet with one of our experienced interior designers who will draw up floor plans and help you choose all aesthetics for the project.
Yes, as a full-service design/build firm, all electrical, carpentry and plumbing services are performed by our in-house team. Yes, we have three interior designers on staff. All attended the College of Art and Design at Rochester Institute of Technology and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design.

Worked with Sara for 2 bathroom remodels. She also helped me with design ideas for many other home renovations. Mark and Jim did an excellent job redoing my master shower and installing new flooring. The workmanship is excellent and I am thrilled with the job. I have no complaints and would highly recommend them. Thanks so much. A very professional team!! 5 stars for Bernhardt's. 10 stars for Sara!! She was so helpful and always willing to give great advice.
