In 2013, Jeff Adams and Rich Williams established Alliance Green Builders with the intent to provide San Diego a general contracting powerhouse for sustainable, high-performance buildings. Their guiding philosophy is that green and high-performance design/construction is simply "building to a higher standard of quality".
We have been building custom homes for decades and know that building your own home is often a once-in-a-lifetime event. We are passionate, dedicated homebuilders that can get the job done right and on time, with open communication, attention to detail, and quality results. We have extensive experience with remodeling existing houses into client's dream homes.
A common misconception is that building 'green' is too costly for purely altruistic reasons. Oftentimes this is incorrect for two reasons. First - many sustainable building techniques and materials can be implemented with little or no additional cost; it just takes knowledge of how to do so and dedication of the project team to prioritize these goals.
Third Party certifications such as LEED and GreenPoint Rated (GPR) provide a guideline for integrating sustainability into every aspect of your project. Not only will your home be water and energy efficient, it will have better indoor air quality, have sustainably sourced and healthy materials, feel more comfortable, and last longer.

We selected Alliance Green Builders as our general contractor for a complete remodel/renovation of our Encinitas home in 2015. They did an incredible job and the end result is better than we had hoped for.
