Owen Street Studio is proud to be a family-run business. Our strong family values translates into offering you the very best service and quality workmanship. Gary started building home furniture in 1979. He majored in Industrial Education at Iowa State University before embarking in a career teaching high school wood shop classes.
Gary started building furniture as a high school student in Avoca, Iowa and went on to major in Industrial Education at Iowa State University. After graduating college, Gary taught high school wood shop to high school students before entering the corporate world, managing installations, trouble-shooting, and training for complex machines with multi-national companies.
