Strawberry Solar is a high-end, turnkey residential installation company founded in 2010 with a combined 20 plus years of solar photovoltaic sales, design, permitting, installation, commissioning, and monitoring. Starting with your electricity bill, we can create a design and 3D rendering of a system specific to your energy needs.
Adding a battery will maximize self consumption of your solar energy, plus serve as back up power in an outage. By providing your electric bill, our team will analyze your usage to determine a system size. Using our design software, we are able to model a system on your house with satellite imagery and LIDAR.
If you purchase a solar photovoltaic system or finance it through a loan, you will be eligible to be credited directly against what you owe in taxes. The federal investment tax credit (ITC) for solar was extended six years at the end of 2015, valued at 30% of a systems cost. Take advantage of the tax credit now, before it goes away!
Battery Storage can do more than just provide power during an outage. These new smart home batteries have programable settings to accommodate different desires or scenarios when it comes to energy consumption. Maximize Self-Consumption- this prioritizes solar and battery energy and limits the use of grid power, sometimes all together.

You were very professional, prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. There were some problems with installation, as there are with any undertaking of this size (no fault of Strawberry Solar.) The Master Electricians were by far, advocates for the customer. Kenan and Omar went above and beyond what would have ever been expected to try and resolve an issue with my internet. I used Energy Sage so I could speak to several vendors and get multiple quotes. At the end of the day, Strawberry Solar beat them all. Their staff is knowledgeable and patient. I was offered several different options at different price points. There was no pressure or sales tactics, which was awesome.
They just completed installation of a 14.060 kW system that I could not be happier with. They are great to work with and my only regret is not having done it sooner. I will be recommending them to all my friends and family.

Great experience. I am thankful that Jeff(sales) called me back for a follow up because I almost went with another company due to my family using them. Jeff got me 10 extra panels, battery back up, and tied my meters together for the same price.(geothermal and house were separate). Tim has been great to work with and has answered/returned all my calls with any questions in operations. Not to take away from anyone mentioned but the shining stars were Keenan and Mason(electricians). So down to earth I felt like I was talking to a childhood friend. The work they did was so clean and left no mess.

I found Strawberry on Energysage and was looking for a local company; fortunate to pick Strawberry. Very easy and fast to get a realistic quote. The layout they offered was detailed and took into account the house and architecture much better than any other proposal. After the initial home evaluation we were able to do everything online and on time (actually faster than expected). The crew was very professional arrived as expected, got the project done and cleaned up in one day. Follow-up afterward has been great. Everything was completed in Fall of 2020 and energy production has consistently met

Strawberry did a fantastic job - Gunnar provided thorough and honest information on the sales and system design as well as the financing options. My original battery choice was backordered, but he worked with me on an alternate solution that ultimately ended up being better anyway. Tim and his panel installation team were efficient and courteous. Kennan, Strawberry's master electrician, runs a great crew - they worked in my basement for the better part of a week getting the system integrated, and they did a very high-quality and clean job and went the extra mile to get me set up for a planned future

I had a few quotes for a solar panel installation, one of which was Strawberry Solar. They came to my house and evaluated the best location for my panels and gave me different options for batteries, panel brand and inverter. I had lots of questions and Gunnar was very knowledgeable about the process and advantages/disadvantages.
I like that this company did not push a battery on me, but instead let me choose exact configuration of the system I was comfortable with. I don't think anyone can beat them on price at this point either. They are a small company that does high quality work and stands

Let me start by quickly saying that the only reason they didn't get 5 stars was due to the communication after the start of the install or rather lack thereof. The whole process working with Strawberry solar up to the install was EXCELLENT. Diane is awesome and a great person to work with! Then the install came and the electricians came to do the cable work as well as I was having them do a couple other projects on the side since they were there. THEY WERE GREAT! Kenon was the contractor and again he was great to work with. Him and his two apprentices came and worked hard and were honestly a joy

This company is a pleasure to work with. Preparatory work very in depth in terms of helping us understand the factors to consider and how best to work with our property. This was not our first solar quote, but was the most detailed and professional. Installation went very smoothly, professional, on time and again very thorough in their work at the time of installation. As mentioned in another review, this is a small company and includes their own Master Electrician rather than a sub-contractor. We initially connected with Strawberry through carbon neutrality initiatives with the City of Ann Arbor

The process started with Seger, a member of Strawberries sales team. For every question, we asked he was able to answer and more. I researched 5 different companies and landed on Strawberry Solar for two main reasons. They have their own master electrician (not a sub contractor) and they offered me the most panels for the amount I had to spend (quality Panasonic panels!). The install went well. Kenan, Mason, and Vincent handled the electrical stuff and did a great job! I was amazed at how easy it was to relate to them--like we had been friends for years. This Detroit based crew was professional, informative and efficient. They took time to proactively educate us during our research period and explained comparative quotes with ease. In writing, the kept us informed and completed all necessary net metering paperwork and permits.

The Lambert's have gone deep into the Green!! Solar Powered baby!! Done by Strawberry Solar; I checked at least 3 other companies before going with them and we only recommend Strawberry Solar! Drew and Tim were great to work with; And got us up and running within 2019 so we could get the larger tax credit. As you can see a nice clean installation on our polebarn roof. And making killer power in a short Winter day! Got Solar????

If I could give them negative stars they'd get a -5. Complete nightmare. The system is still not properly installed, 6 months after the contract was signed. Supposed to be done in 3 months. Strawberry Solar constantly shifts the blame to the electrician, Premium Electric, who was the subcontractor. Constant "apologies", constant delays, followed… by periods of flat out ignoring everything. I'll be filing a complaint with the State Attorney General for starters. More than likely it will end up in court. Save yourself the aggravation and find a different company to put in your system. Strawberry

Joe, Will, and the rest of the crew took great care of us. They were easy to work with and gave us a system that fit our needs and budget. We received several quotes and theirs was the most comprehensive and utilized a great product as well. They explained each step and helped walk us through as we went. The panels aren't visible from ground level, but look great from above. We're really happy with the service and final product!

I waited 4 years to get someone to put solar on my house. I called energy sage and they told me about Strawberry Solar. I am so HAPPY that we got Strawberry Solar to install our panels! It took them 2 weeks to come out and see what needed to be done.-After waiting 4 years ...WHAT A NICE SURPRISE! We got our Solar panels and the fellows who hooked them up were efficient and so very NICE as well as being so professional in their workmanship.
I cannot say enough about how great this company is to work with!!

Immature. VERY unprofessional. Young and inexperienced. Beware of the millennial. Just be very careful doing ANY business with this group. Stay on Joe Nagleswoths good side. He's definitely bi- polar and flips in seconds.
Not to mention the constant harrassment after the fac from all 200 of his FB friends . There may be some slander and liable lawsuits pending. Just beware and have a lawyers ready.
