My name is Chandler Nemitz. I am the owner/operator of Optimum Air Conditioning located in SWFL. I have been in the AC business for 8 years as an HVAC installer, install manager, and now as a business owner. After working in the industry for years, I have made the decision that I wanted to build my own HVAC company that is based on honesty, quality, and exceptional customer service.
Professional maintenance goes beyond what a typical homeowner is equipped to deal with, including things like checking your refrigerant level and cleaning the evaporator coil. Our a/c was installed by another company about 6 years ago. The drain line has had a problem of filling up with algae and the back up of water causes a switch to turn off the a/c. Having a service agreement with the other company meant the line was being cleaned out twice a year. Maintenance was performed 6 weeks ago by the original company. My a/c has shut off again. When I called the original company they said the best they could do was get me in on a after hours call between 9 and 11 tonight. I called Optimum air who sent out the owner to get me fixed up. His honesty and integrity impressed

In working with owner Chandler and one of their new technicians Sam, they provided outstanding customer service, answered all our questions with patience and detail, and performed the job efficiently and flawlessly. Literally could not be more pleased! Professional, polite, and extremely knowledgeable! I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. We had been taken advantage of in the past by other A/C companies, so we were reluctant to call anyone and anticipated the worst, but Chandler quickly put me at ease and earned my trust! So impressed with Chandler and his service team. We knew we were on borrowed time with our AC unit. We received a quote from OA as well as other quotes from other companies. Soon thereafter our AC died, of course in the middle of August. Chandler was on it so quickly and his team was out the next day with a new AC. We wanted to have our unit relocated from the ceiling in the garage (which had the unit laying horizontally) to the ground so the unit could be vertical and allow for more airflow and to be more accessible for servicing, it was a big undertaking. I had a new AC system and all new duct work installed at my home. I was told it would probably only take a couple of days. They went above and beyond to make sure that happened. They worked about 11 hours the first day and about 13 the next. In an attic that was 125 degrees. Came out excellent. Very happy!

Chandler and his team did amazing. Kevin came to my house to give a quote shortly after calling. He was very polite and professional. He was super nice to our special needs son as well and, when he came back the next day he made sure to say hi to him. Jordan and Austin installed our new ducts, return vent, and unit and did an amazing job. After being at our home for a full day of work, they didn’t hesitate to stay and make sure we were happy with our new AC. Chandler was very patient with us explaining every thing and answering all of our questions. Lavonne in the office is very polite and sweet
