In 1980 Populist Cleaning Co started out as a "mom and pop" cleaning company looking to clean churches in and around Ypsilanti, Michigan. With hard work and an unrelenting commitment to quality service, we've become much more. Populist now serves a wide range of businesses and organizations throughout Southeast Michigan.
With 40+ years in the commercial janitorial business, we've learned that quality service is more than great bathroom care, trash, and vacuuming. We have been working with the Populist team for many years, and they always do a great job. Responsive, friendly, and efficient, their service is fabulous and we really appreciate all of their hard work. Our building is complex (an old school turned office and lab environment) and they handle it all without an issue, and every interaction I have with their staff is a good one. Kudos to Mike and Populist - a great company that I hope to work with for a long, long time!

I have been quite impressed with Populist Cleaning, the management and crew. This is the cleanest building I have ever worked in and its so pleasant to come into the office everyday. If there is a problem, they respond quickly and take care of whatever the issue may be. I would highly recommend Populist Cleaning, their staff is so courteous and accommodating, a five star experience!

Populist Cleaning has cleaned my office since it was new about 20 years ago. Their comprehensive approach to cleaning and maintaining my office has paid off with lower replacement costs over time. The level of service provided has not diminished over time. Their system provides for a constant high level of service. Best of all we all love our janitor. He has become part of our family as he has been the person Populist assigned to show up every time the office has been cleaned for the last 5 years. He is on time, comprehensive in his approach and reliable in every way.

I cannot say enough about this company. I worked for them for about a year and everything about them was high quality. Their customer service is the best. They are serious about the cleanliness of your business. Please consider Populist if you want no-nonsense, consistent service from your cleaning company.

I've been with Populist for over 4 years now. My experience with Populist has always been positive and everyone has always been very supportive. Populist is the best company that I have ever worked for.

I've worked for Populist cleaning company for about a year and half and I feel compelled by their actions to say that this is one of, if not the best company I have ever worked for. First and foremost, they treat you like a partner not an employee. They understand how valuable their work force is and they go out of their way to let you know it. Even in these unprecedented times they have managed to make sure me, and from what I've heard, the entire work force has what it needs to protect themselves and continue working in a safe and productive manner.
