Business really deserves no stars but I give one extra because the movers were fairly fast and careful.
Here's what to look out for:
They overcharged me for extra time they did not use. Here's what they did/do:
I moved some furniture to a consignment store. They said they couldn't do it in the morning only afternoon but store only takes delivery until 3pm so the plan was to pick up the stuff then deliver the next day but of course, you pay in advance for the total hours at pick up. Hence the hours are anticipated.
They do not tell you when or how long the Consignment store drop off is. Well

S & D moved us to our new home in April 2019. A week later, one of their movers broke into our new house and robbed us. He was later caught by Riverside County Sheriffs Department and confessed that he worked for
S & D and that he used the job to "case" our house. S & D admitted to us that they had not vetted this employee although he had several felony convictions. And even though they claim to be "insured and bonded," they would not take any responsibility for their negligent hiring practices. Do not hire this company! One star is too generous.

All around excellent company! These gentleman showed up on time they were very polite and courteous they moved me out of my house on a short notice and and had me set up in my new house In no time at all. They assembled my furniture hung up pictures unpacked and I was able to store some furniture that I wasn’t bringing to my new home. I am very impressed with all the services this company has to offer. The pricing is wonderful there were no hidden fees or charges. If you’re looking for a moving company I’d highly recommend SD moving services.
