Fully tempered glass is approximately four times as strong as annealed glass of the same thickness and configuration. When broken, by impact, fully tempered glass fractures into relatively small pieces meeting safety glazing requirements thereby greatly reducing the likelihood of serious cutting or piercing injuries in comparison with ordinary annealed glass.
If you would like us to provide you with glass installation services, please call our office (978) 988-1144 to discuss what you need. We typically send out our installers to measure for glass and determine what other materials, how many men for the job, and approximately how long the installations should take to complete.
One of the most common issues with older windows is dealing with the space between the two pieces of glass fogging up. The double-pane glass itself seems stable, but it goes through a daily cycle of expansion and contraction from thermal pumping. When the sun heats up the air between the panes, the gas expands.
MirroView glass is glass manufactured by Pilkington that is designed to act as both a mirror and a screen. It is ideal for concealing digital displays and video screens. When the screens are turned off, it looks like a standard mirror, but when the screens are turned on, it's a futuristic display screen.

I have no experience with glass and I called them first to check if they did custom glass shelf and the person was very kind in answering all the questions before I went. Next day I went in person giving them the template and it was done perfectly and was given to me within 5 days. I am so happy with the custom glass shelf. Cost wise I am not sure how to rate as I said I have no no experience with such things. I would recommend this place.

Asked someone to come out for a quote on a sliding glass window. They said they would be out the next day. A week later they never came so I called and they showed up right away. Quoted a fair price and told me that they would be in the following week to install. They didn't show up the week they said they would, or the week after. I called at the very end of the second week and they said they would call back within an hour. They never called back. When I called today to cancel the "install" the receptionist was very polite but didn't make any effort to salvage the business... everyone I talked

The worst customer service I have ever dealt with. No call back, lost order, and no help what so ever. Only needed a small piece of glass for a table top. Two weeks later no glass and I had to call them looking for my order. Which they lost and never filled. Stay away from this company. Wish I could give them no stars.

Great glass, fast, and amazingly low cost — for homeowners to contractors to...
As a local DIY homeowner I used to visit Heritage Glass in Lexington, until they went out of business in 2011. The service was helpful and friendly at Heritage, a typical 13" x 25" 1/8" double-glazed pane of tempered glass for over the tub would take about 10-14 days to be ready, and cost about $100, but it always fit properly. When they went away, I searched high and low for a similar home glass source. In desperation, I found Contract Glass — a bit more of a drive for me, but not too bad, tucked away in a manufacturing
