Services
It all started in a garage. After working as a tile setter for many years, John Tithof had his sights set on more substantial ideas; ideas like driving natural stone into the average household. In 1984, a Kenosha garage was turned into the first Tithof fabrication shop. To accommodate supply and demand, John purchased a larger Kenosha facility in 1994 and, subsequently, a secondary tile and marble location in Highland Park, Illinois.
At Tithof Tile & Marble, we're committed to assisting you throughout the entire process. This means our responsibility begins with your initial call or email and does not end until the last pieces of material are installed. We really pride ourselves on our client involvement, specifically with our layout technology, showing you exactly what to expect with each and every piece of natural stone or tile.
Tithof has over 130 different varieties of stone, with 2000 slabs in stock, located at our 14,000 sq. Tithof is personally shopping national stone factories in countries such as Brazil, India and Italy for the most premium slabs of granite, quartzite and marble. The quality of Tithof's brand doesn't stop there.
Ceramic tile is a mixture of clays and other natural materials. The special clays are mined from the earth, shaped, colored and then fired in kilns to remove moisture. Traditional Ceramic tile can be naturally colored and left unglazed like terra cotta, or be glazed in either a high gloss or matte finish.
At Tithof we thrive on challenging projects that push the limit of creativity and design. We work closely with the area's top general contractors, architects, designers and kitchen and bath firms to provide the most competitive quality for value. We offer many custom features to enhance your project, such as the integration of natural stone sinks, custom edge profiles, drain board systems, thinning, mitering and laminating.

The experience of deciding where to get your new countertop can be overwhelming . From the first impression of Tithof to the last we were very pleased. The inventory of granite for you to choose from was impressive to the courteous staff that give honest advice to what me be the best choice for your needs. They are patient and not pushy, prices are reasonable and the installers were very professional . Eddie and Malek were cautious friendly and took pride in their work. I would recommend this place top notch!

I have called 5 times over the course of 3 weeks to get pricing on a piece of marble for a bar top. Not sure if the project is too small and they can't be bothered, but I feel like they shouldn't say they sell remnants if they can't be bothered with it. Every time I call they tell me a designer will call me back and they never do. Very unprofessional business. Don't waste your time.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Tithof Tile & Marble company. Marybeth who took us "under her wing", was very helpful in many ways. She was within our budget and stayed with the colors we wanted. She was also very prompt when needed. I also want to say the installers were awesome. They did a great job and were very punctual as well!!! I would recommend this company!! You are treated like FAMILY here!!!

Recently we worked with Tithof Tile & Marble in Kenosha when remodeling our kitchen and dining room. Marybeth was a joy to work with. She is professional and very sweet. We had questions and John the owner was near by and introduced himself and spoke to us. Everyone was very helpful. Luke came to measure and was very knowledgeable and professional. Eddie, Thad and Luke worked together to install the granite and we were very pleased with there work. The staff who cut the granite did quality work. We would recommend this company to anyone thinking of remodeling. We absolutely love our new kitchen

After doing extensive research, we decided to use Tithof to fabricate and install our granite kitchen countertop. What sealed the deal was working with MaryBeth. She has confidence in her company and assured us that they would deliver us a beautiful countertop. Well, they exceeded our expectations! MaryBeth walked us through every step of the process. We used Tithof in 2017 to replace our outdated kitchen counter tops. We were so impressed with the; professionalism, price, and quality that we chose them again in 2018 to install our granite and double sinks in our master bath. When I entered the building to talk to someone, everyone was helpful and friendly.
Mary Beth, my sales associate, went above and beyond to answer my questions and make sure I was happy, even when she was off for the day. She made me feel extremely important, stayed professional while making me feel like a friend, not just a customer.

Mary Beth was awesome to work with, very knowledgeable and very willing to go the extra mile to be sure everything went smoothly . My whole process from my first appointment to install was about 3 weeks. I walked the yard to see whole slabs in the light, got quotes on 4 or 5 slabs, picked one, had them come out and measure, and within a few days of that I got a pdf of what the cut out on the slab looked like. had it install within 10 days of that! They were super reasonably priced and great to work with!
