Southern New Hampshire has become an increasing target for home invasions over the past several years. Most burglaries happen during the day when people are at work and children are at school. National statistics tell us that a home is burglarized every 13 seconds, and the most common point of entry is the front and back door.
An access control system is just fancy words for a lock and key combination that allows a single user or multiple users to access specific areas of the building. These systems can be mechanical, as in a master key system or electronic managed door controls, with the ability to also have a schedule, date and times of access with an audit trail.
Deadbolt locks are essential to home security. Simply locking the door using the key to the passage set only stops honest people. A home can be accessed within 30 seconds using a credit card slid through the door latch and striker. Any amateur thief knows this. To be secure, you should be in the habit of locking the deadbolt whenever you leave your home or before you go to bed at night.

Harvey did a great job on top of being the only locksmith in NH who picked up the phone on a Sunday. He not only did a great job fixing the problem, he resolved it in a way that saved me time and money, and left me with lubricant and instructions for proper care. I lost the key to my 100+ year old buffet from England with two complicated locking mechanisms. Harvey arrived on a Saturday right when he said he would, assessed the problem, and took the hardware back to his shop to work on (so I didn't have to have the buffet delivered to him). He was back early the next day, having fixed both lock mechanisms. He took care reinstalling the locks and double checked that they worked perfectly before leaving. The cost was very reasonable, especially being a weekend. I just moved to Goffstown and am very happy to have found Goffstown Lock & Key and someone as helpful

My Fiancee and I got locked out of our house on a hot humid day and with no car keys. Harvey came right by and had the door open in no time. Made a good point that we would probably be better off with just a deadbolt, we will have him come back for that

Harvey is awesome! The lock on the door to our garage randomly broke, leaving us with no access to our cars. I called a few other 24/7 Locksmiths and no one picked up - it was about 3:30pm in the afternoon on a Saturday. Called Goffstown Lock and Key and an hour later, Harvey arrived! It took him maybe 15 minutes to fix the lock. He even made a suggestion that saved us $32. Would for sure outreach again if needed!

We called after hours for an emergency situation in which we needed the locks changed on our house. Our phone call was returned immediately and Goffstown Lock and Key was at our house within a half hour. The work was done quickly, professionally, and at a reasonable price. We have used other area locksmiths before and Goffstown Lock and Key goes above and beyond with quality of work, professionalism, and integrity.
