Eddie Ray Stafford started Eddie Stafford Construction in the year of 1999 after working for 10 years as a lead carpenter for Boyd Coffey Construction. He started out doing remodels and single-family dwellings that included a large number of True Log Homes. In 2009, Mayland Homes was formed and started offering modular housing in addition to the site built homes.
We bring years of experience to design through completion of our site built homes. This includes standard stick built homes and true log homes. We have the resources to help in pre-construction planning and design, as well as the ability to manage and perform each stage of construction from the foundation to certificate of occupancy.
Our systems-built modular homes are prefabricated houses that consist of multiple modules, or sections, which are manufactured in a climate controlled remote facility and then delivered to the intended site. This helps to avoid untimely weather delays, quality control problems, and fluctuating or unpredictable material cost.
We had the best experience building our North Carolina home. The initial design and planning stage with The Modular Company couldn't have been better. They were responsive to all our wants and needs and together with Mayland Homes we made the best possible design for our family. After delivery to our lot, Mayland Homes took over and delivered a finished product way beyond our expectations.
