Vern's Glass was started in 1957 by Vern and Mickee James. Along with their son, Vern Jr., and incredible work ethic, they built a business that has stood the test of time. Vern James started in the glass business down in San Bernardino when he was just a youngster. In 1957 they moved to Lucerne Valley where Vern worked for Lucerne Valley Glass.

We belong to the Victorville Chamber of Commerce, Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce and we sponsor many local charity groups in their endeavors.

Window & Screen Repair - From bay windows to sliders we provide replacement windows or glass. We use quality glass that is strong and durable. Not all window glass is made to the same quality.
Vern's Glass supplies quality glass and glass door services to the High Desert and Victorville community. We work with DIY people and contractors who are looking for quality products for their residential building projects. Glass doors are more common than many people realize. They are amazingly versatile in their use and fairly easy to install.

I was very disappointed with the sour attitude and treatment we encountered with the staff. They wanted to overcharge us because we lived in Helendale. At least they returned the money that we paid before they started the job. They clearly did not want to do the job. It was a simple single panne window replacement, but they acted like it was antique stained glass, and the price was insane. My car windshield cost half of what they were charging for a 12” by 36” piece of glass.

From the start of this process Vern’s glass has been professional and friendly. Reminding me of the reason why we support our local businesses here in the desert. The installation of our sliding glass door, bathroom custom shower glass, and our sliding glass door in the prefabricated tub were phenomenal. Everything went according to plan and their service was awesome! I will be having them come replace all the windows in my house here soon too. I would highly recommend Vern's glass.

We had a gunshot crack in our church glass door. I called vern's and they were so quick to come! They were early which is was happy about because let's get it done! Within two days Chris and his helper Tyler came and installed the new glass! He called and came early, again awesome, and they were so prefessional and quick! Amazing customer service all around. I will definitely call them the next time I need them! Thank you so much for hiring great people that provide great service!

My experience was horrible unfortunately we had issues with our screen door that was placed along with our sliding door. The second time around that I had to call to report my issue I was given the worst customer service I have ever been given by an employee. The receptionist Denna was extremely rude. After recalling the previous issue we had with the door she began to tell me that we must be doing something goofy to the door in order for us to continue having problems. A customer should never feel belittled or attacked. The men that came to place the door were phenomenal at their job, but unfortunately

On the stormy morning I accidentally broken the glass door to our wood burning stove. At first it appeared the wood burning stove would be out of commission for a week if I ordered the glass from the stove manufacturer. It was suggested to have the glass replaced by a local glass shop. After making a few calls, I decided to use Vern's Glass Shop. Boy, was I glad I did....the service was excellent, the staff was most helpful, the glass was installed in less than one hour and we were able to have an evening fire. Thanks so much!

I called Vern's when we were in a crisis. My moms
Slider Door had been broken by someone throwing a boulder threw it. They were out within hours to board it up And give an estimate. Door arrived swiftly once we ordered. Ray for the board up and I believe Dave ( for the install) were both great. I spoke to Josh when I first called and he was awesome as well! Kind, professional and efficient.All around great experience. In a day and age when customer service seems to be at an all time low in many businesses, it is refreshing to have excellent service and I'm happy to recommend Vern&apos

This is an amazing company. I just had all my windows upgraded to double pain. Even though they had a shortage on installers they still kept my project on track. Adam is great, he installed all the windows including an over sized slider by himself. He is very professional, fast and even made sure to clean up the debris. I will only go to Vern's for all my glass needs.
As far as price, they came in right in the middle of the estimates that i got.

When the other glass company disappointed me (see reviews) I called Vern's and a very pleasant and polite lady took my call. She took the time to listen carefully to my needs, and then set a same day appointment for measuring my broken window. She told me someone would come around 3 PM and if someone could come sooner, she'd call me.
At 1:45P I received a call while I was at Home Depot, they were at my house. I apologized for not being there, explained it would take about 10 minutes and then rushed home

I'll tell you what! As a contractor that's worked with dozens of other contractors over the years. This was by far the absolute best experience I've ever had. The two installers that worked on a house I'm flipping are some of the most professional people I've ever worked with. I'm the kind of guy that follows people around and has to make sure they are doing the right thing for me. Let's just say the next home I work on.
