Local moving is based on an hourly rate. Time starts at your door, drive time is doubled between transfer points, and time ends when your home is set up. This Company did charged me $1200 for 5 hours for 2 bed apartments! 2 miles between both locations!
They are not carful and they have damaged all the walls and the door as you can see in the pictures! Stay away from this company there is much better moving companies cheaper and more professional!!

These guys were awesome. We had issues with our original moving plans. We called Maison 1 day away from our moving date, and they sent us two movers the next day. The employees were great and very friendly. I would recommend this company to all my friends and family.

Maison Moving helped me move from my suburban home in SGV to my apartment in San Francisco. The movers were exceptionally professional and efficient in their work. They were communicative, friendly, and a class act all around. The price may “seem” higher then competitors, but the difference is that Maison Moving won’t nickel and dime you with hidden fees later. What you see if what you get. Would totally use them again in a heartbeat.

We had plans to have friends help us move but one by one they were hit with covid. I made a last minute call to Maison after seeing their reviews and I was so relived they had availability and the customer service rep was so nice! The movers were so fast, yet carful and organized. We were scared to let them move our tv but I wished we would have because we broke our tv trying to move it ourselves and Maison did such a great job with everything else. I will definitely use them again!

I paid 850 for 3 hours of work and a 40 minute drive. I was told one price on the phone with Daniel. I specifically asked about the drive time and was lied to, I went from one storage space to another so everything was wrapped but was still charged for materials! When I called to speak with dispatch, he was very rude!! This is the first moving company I have ever used that required a deposit and I see now it is probably because they are no upfront about the cost on the phone. Maison helped us move my elderly father-in-law from an independent living home into memory care at another facility. We were very concerned about making the move as quickly as possible while minimizing the disruption in the transition for my father-in-law.
From the first call, Maison clearly understood our situation, the unique service situation (assisted living residences), and the care we needed (in consideration of an elderly alzheimer's client). Maison clearly has the experience to handle sensitive moves.

I had the privilege of doing business with Maison Moving and the experience was fantastic. From organizing and planning with Marlisha the receptionist. She was so nice and knowledgeable on all aspects of moving. I was not there for the moving process as I work nights, so my wife and kids made it happen. I apologize that I don't have the movers names to thank them but they were awesome! Making my family happy is a major plus so I know they performed their job. Great communication and very reasonable pricing. The guys were on time, very professional, efficient and quick! They took great care in wrapping all my furniture and moving it down two flights of stairs.
Once at the new house, they were extremely helpful in placing all my furniture exactly where we wanted it.
I don't plan on moving again anywhere near the future, but would definitely use this company again!

I contacted Maison Moving for our move to Temecula form Chino. My contact Person was Melissa. I made sure that Melissa was aware and everyone else that I spoke to that we have a Yamaha Baby Grand Piano to move with the rest of our 5+ bedroom home in Chino. The contract price was based on Maison providing 3 trucks and 6 movers. The movers arrived on-time with 5 movers and three trucks. None of the personnel knew that they are moving a baby grand piano and therefore they did not bring a truck with a liftgate. They waited for more than an hour to get the right truck. From the initial booking and getting detailed information, to the end of the move. Excellent customer service with Rep via phone, answered every question and was always available. They confirmed and went over the move details again right before my move. The morning of the move, they called and communicated exactly how they said they would. I just had an experience with Maison Moving. I thought they did a great job, and thought they were great guys, until the move. The guys unloaded my items at my new house. The following day after they unloaded everything, I noticed my handgun was missing out of my truck. Then, a few days later, I noticed a series of my checks were missing. A couple days after that, I found out that a check was written, and cashed in the name of Valenten Guza for $700 that I did not write or endorse. Maison moved us yesterday. The team was lead by Paul Schaeffer. He called the morning of the move and stated when he would arrive withing the block requested time. We have a tight private long driveway and both trucks were able to be negotiated with care to the front door.
He and his team did a great job wrapping, packing, and loading. I was worried the player piano would damage the wood floors of the house and there was no damage to the floors or our belongings. The team acted with efficiency, care, and professionalism. I would recommend and use them again if the need arrises.

After moving five times in the past five years, I decided to hire a moving company during these difficult times and went with Maison Moving based on their yelp reviews. I made an initial request off their website, and Marlisha contacted me right away to go over my estimation and agreement. She was accommodating, professional, and quick.

Lazaro, Lucas, and Cruz all did an amazing job. After checking with some other moving companies, I got a referral from a friend for Maison Moving. The phone call consultation was very helpful and informative about their moving process. When the guys arrived, the guys were very professional and put all my stress at ease.

Jorge & Armando were great. Quick, efficient, took apart the Queen bed in no time and put it back together just as fast at the destination. No time wasted, no overtly bubble wrapping the most mundane things that require copious amounts of time to unwrap it (see my review about A2, nightmare) - they took the refrigerator down that A2 said couldn't, when I urged the guy that it was delivered from Sears in one piece, through the door he said was too small. I used Maison Moving and had the pleasure of getting Kenneth and Jason F. I got a courtesy call when they were on their way and the professionalism kept up til the very end.
They had plenty of blankets to protect our delicate materials, dolly for the heavy stuff, shrink-wrapped furniture, etc.- everything we needed.
And at the hourly rate, they hustled, busted their humps to get it done fast for me.

Great experience overall. Wonderful helpful service over the phone from Stephanie. I was sent three guys to help my husband and I move on one of the hottest days of the year. Ramon, Jason and Jose Flores were awesome. Their positive attitude and attention to detail made the move quick and easy for us all. I was very thankful to have excellent movers. I would definitely recommend and use again. The cost might be a bit more than other moving company's but it's worth it when all your stuff is in perfect condition once it arrives to its new home.

Moving is the worst!! But Alton & Eric P. got me out of crappy situation in record time, protected my grandmother's incredibly fragile vintage jewelry armoire so no damage on way to its new home, weren't judgey of my super awkward roommate encounter, were incredibly patient & friendly as I chatted their ears off, were respectful & efficient plus even went above n beyond to reorganize my ENTIRE storage unit to ensure the addition of my million boxes of shoes fit, but tetris-ed them all allowing room for more - whereas most companies would've saved the time & effort

I recently moved from Long Beach to Eastvale and
Maison Moving was a life saver. I moved on a day with record heat AND I was moving from a second story to a two story house so there were a LOT of trips up and down stairs. They were friendly, professional, and fast. It took just under four hours. I am SO incredibly grateful for them. It's bad enough moving but I can't imagine having done it without their help.

Alton, Jake and Jason did an amazing job with the moving, to our new place, they were very efficient and went above and beyond with putting our stuff carefully into the new house.. without breaking anything or scratching anything, they made sure our stuff is in proper spots and all put up together.. These guys worked nonstop and worked really hard all day.

We have used many movers before - Allied, Mayflower, and even locals. Kenny and Jake who coordinates our move from Maison Moving were the most professional, kind and polite movers we've ever known. I would recommend them to anyone - especially those I care about the most. They were careful, kept me up to date throughout the day and did everything they could to help us.
