The first choice you need to make when deciding on the style of your new door is whether you want to go with a traditional garage door or a carriage style. Carriage House Style doors look like garage doors of yore but they are overhead doors and operate as you would expect. The variety of carriage house style doors is nearly unlimited.
We install and repair most garage door opener makes and models! If you need an opener installed or repaired in Pasco County, FL, give Precision a call today. Belt Driven Openers- Belt drives are regarded as the "best" opener in the industry. They are virtually silent which is big advantage they have over the chain drive.
Doing a Balance Test on your door as recommended by DASMA will tell you if it is your garage door system caused your motor to fail. Conducting a balance test is easy. When a garage door is not in balance, as shown in the video, it will stress the motor and cause your opener to fail over and over again.
Torsion springs are above the door with springs that slide onto a bar. Extension springs are located next and parallel to the open door. Precision's fully stocked vehicles carry a complete line of torsion and extension springs. The typical garage door has 2 springs and it's likely that both springs were installed at the same time and are the same age.
The good news is that galvanized garage door springs boast long cycle lives, meaning they will wind and unwind tens of thousands of times without breaking. The bad news is that they quickly weaken to the point where they stop doing their job of lifting the door. Within 90 days galvanized springs have to be tightened as they relax and wear out that quickly.

Very satisfied with my experience. Daron/Craig Earle was very knowledgeable and provided me with various options depending on my needs and what I could afford. He also took his time to explain how to ensure proper maintenance of my door so I could extend the longevity of my new motor and didn't leave until all my questions were answered. Very positive and professional experience.

I am very disappoint as to how my situation was handled. I was told that the door springs could be repaired/replaced (going up and down unevenly). Tech then cut the cords and started dismantling the door structure only then for him to come back to me to state that they don't have the correct size springs, would never have those, and now they have to re-build the entire door for close to $2,000. The door was now not able to operate and the tech had no solution except to now charge me a huge amount $ and to rebuild it the way he mentioned initial that he wanted to do, and described as "the new way

We were not sure if we could get our seal replaced on our garage door because when it rains water flows onder the door and get the garage all wet. Craig came out and in just a few minutes he told us our options. He could not replace a section with a hole in it because it was fiberglass and they don't carry that anymore. But he could replace the seal on the bottom of the door. He also help us by putting in a barrier ant the garage floor to keep the water out. We were very impressed with his knowledge and the fact that he did not push us to buy a new door. Thank you so much Precision overhead door
