I would highly recommend Avid Solar. Russ installed our solar panels six years ago; they have produced the power that was expected and they still look great. Avid Solar also provides excellent service. Last month Russ emailed me to tell me that a conductor had stopped working on my system and it was covered by the warranty. He offered to come by soon to install it at no cost to us, which he did, and it was wonderful to see him.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Responsiveness
Russ took my money back in March and has not responded to a single phone call or email since. He is so bad, that my contractor dropped him and told me I would have to work through him on my own. My huge mistake, the man is a crook. If you'd like to give somebody money and have them never call you back again, this is the company to call.

From the beginning, Avid Solar outshone the competition. Russ Aney was knowledgeable and friendly and he educated me about solar power. His team has outdone themselves in service and support. Our solar panels were installed by Next Step Living but the company abruptly went out of business and left its customers in limbo. After seeking out help from several providers I was fortunate to have found Russ (Avid Solar). He helped us get our panels working to maximum capacity and he spent hours troubleshooting and getting to know our system. He was honest, efficient and his bill was very reasonable. We were so pleased that he is now monitoring our system and he recently helped us get back on line after a technical issue. I would highly recommend him.

The BEST! After consulting with 7 Solar Firms, I chose Avid Solar. Russ Aney had the expertise and qualifications for a superior installation. My goal was to have a Zero Net Energy Home and Russ helped me to reach this goal. My electric bill has been ZERO since last April! This includes heating, cooling, hot water and all electric appliances etc.
