My husband and I , got lucky, we found the perfect contractors for our long overdue kitchen renovation.

Kevin and Laurie Blute did amazing work for us.
She was gifted in her interior decorating and design suggestions and follow-thru; he, as contractor / carpenter, was meticulous in his interior work as he worked with sub contractors to create a new kitchen and two bathrooms for us.
We have since needed his counsel and advice on other home repairs as well as help in replacing our front entrance stoop.

Lorrie is so creative and she was so tuned into my style and my vision. Unlike other remodeling companies that tried to mold my wishes into what they thought I needed or wanted, Lorrie really listened to me and brought my dreams to reality. She also was very patient as we made a number of changes along the way and she enthusiastically signed up for every new idea and helped suggest things that built on those ideas.

Kevin and Lorrie Blute did a fabulous job renovating our entire house from outside to inside. They gave us personal, caring, honest and professional, high-quality expertise from cabinets to tiles to flooring to painting to windows to plumbing to lighting... all with an understanding of our needs and budget. We've gotten many compliments on the special touches which they suggested. We highly recommend them for whatever large or small project you face. Very pleased with the outcome of our kitchen remodel. Laurie had a great vision for making the existing space more functional with great flow and increased storage. We have a beautiful new kitchen suitable for family entertaining and cooking. Kevin is a master at making the plan come together with great attention to detail. We are so happy with the work done on our Chatham home by Schoolhouse Construction. Lorrie and Kevin are very professional and expert at what they do. Our project was a significant one…full kitchen remodel, bathroom, laundry room, porch and more. They were completely on schedule or ahead of it. Their communication was excellent.
