Hart F E Fence

We weren't allowed in the office or building, our order was taken over the phone while standing right outside the door. While loading our order we asked to exchange 1 fence rail due to a large defect and the yard working went off on us. Started being extremely rude and got a major attitude for the rest of the time we were there. We drove 3 hrs to get our fence and were almost at the point we were going to leave it all there.

Didn't have much information to give when I asked questions.....not too sure what this company even does now....?

The Owner of the place waited on us , he was very rude, said some things to me and my wife that weren't appropriate, never going back there again, will buy my fence somewhere else!

We were very pleased with our fence, which is clearly a better grade than the ones we looked at Home Depot and Lowes.

In my opinion, dealing with a local company whenever possible is a plus.

The installer they recommended did a fine job.

This whole experience was great. I got great advice, they made sure I had all the little odds and ends like hardware and scrap pieces, they knew every step ahead of time and made sure I was prepared I felt like they really took the time to not only teach me what I needed to know, but also listen to what I wanted. Excellent service and and excellent, custom built products. Happily would recommend F.E. Hart to anyone.

Great people to work with. The product is much better quality than what you will get at the big box warehouses. I expect the fence to last many years. Prices are proprtional to the product quality.

My husband and I purchased our arbor (wedding arch) from F E Hart back in July 2018. Our first impression was that they lack good customer service. The woman at the counter didn't acknowledge us until after 10 minutes or so when we ended up approaching her with a couple questions and I felt as if we were an inconvenience. She eventually opened up and became helpful as we were undecided on which one to get. After the fact we ended up finding the same one online and at home depot for 150.00 less then what we paid there. (Not their fault, we should've shopped around before going there).

I've had nothing less than a great experience with the people who own and run F.E. Hart Fence company. Ed and Patti are the owners and have always been helpful and friendly. We purchased our pool fencing from them and received top notch service. As far as I'm concerned, they are a great local business.
Kind of odd that the other review mentions Lowes as a better experience. Sounds like a shill to me. I've had mixed experiences with Lowes, some good some bad.
With F.E. Hart it's been all good!

Observation 1: the older lady who dealt with me both times acted like she was doing me a favor shopping there. I got the sense she may not understand who the customer is.



Observation 2: you can get all these fences cheaper many other places. I'd bet you would be treated better. I bet Lowes would be a better experience.
