DC Hardwood Flooring is a Colorado based company serving Northern Colorado areas ( since 1994 ) such as Boulder, Estes Park, Longmont, Loveland, Fort Collins, and Southern Wyoming areas around Cheyenne and Laramie. We have also traveled to other states, but the customer has paid for travel and lodging expenses in these cases.
We started doing flooring in Boulder, Colorado in 1989 and have expanded to the areas mentioned above. Doing all aspects of installation, sanding and finishing of hardwood flooring and tile, and also custom stains, stairs, inlays, borders and some light carpentry work. We will remove base, carpet, cut doors and add trim.

Services
When bamboo was first marketed for flooring, it had many problems due to the fact that it was not milled correctly, shipped correctly or packaged correctly. It was also more expensive than other types of wood because it had to be imported. Over the last few years, huge improvements have been made in bamboo flooring.
We do not move furniture, please have all furniture and items removed from work area (do not forget about the closets). We do not sand around furniture or heavy items (pianos, fish tanks etc.,). If you elect not to remove item(s) from the work area, please let us know a.s.a.p. DC reserves the right not to do the work or will not be held responsible in any way for damage to items or the look of the hardwood floor in installation or finishing.
If you don't see a species of wood here that you are interested in, it may be because it is not good with Colorado's climate or has other problems. Please ask us about exotic woods and any wood not listed here before you purchase it. Our bamboo flooring is solid wood through and through just like any other hardwood flooring species.
4. After initial 7-day waiting period, floor should be cleaned with water and a damp mop only. Occasionally a solution of vinegar and water may be used for dirtier floors. 5. NEVER USE Murphy's oil, detergents, Endust, Swiffers or anything other than what is mentioned above on the floor. NEVER WAX THE FLOOR.
DC Hardwood Flooring of Colorado typically services Northern Colorado areas of Boulder, Fort Collins, Greeley, Longmont, Estes Park and into Southern Wyoming areas of Cheyenne and Laramie. We have traveled to other states to do hardwood flooring, but the customer pays for our travel expenses; including gas and hotel room for the duration of the time it takes us to complete the job.

About 10 years ago I hired DC Hardwood Flooring based on a recommendation of a friend. I got multiple bids and proposals from various companies. I awarded the job to install new hardwood flooring in my living room, family room, pantry, and hallway to DC Hardwood Flooring because Dave said he could feather in the new wood to match the existing flooring in my entry way and kitchen. After about a half dozen estimates by other companies, it was clear right away that DC was the best for the job. Dave’s passion and expertise of hardwood flooring was unlike any I’d seen. I cannot recommend him highly enough. His work is exceptional. Dave brought my 1920s floors back to life and was great to work with.

Dave is very professional. He does his own estimates and his own work. He will not bid and then give it to a contractor like
some other companies. The quality of the work is top notch. We went with the Swedish Finish and the quality is so much better
than the water base finish we got a few years back. We will be having Dave refinish those water based floors soon. Highly recommend.

When we wanted to add new hardwood floors to the main level of our home, we investigated many options. Ultimately, we chose DC Hardwood Flooring and we could not be happier with our decision.
