J. Noble Binns Plumbing Company is a locally owned company that was founded in 1945 by James Noble Binns. Don Schimnowski purchased the company in 1985 as a small service company. Over the past 20 years the company has not only expanded in the service and repair department; servicing Bakersfield and the surrounding areas of Kern County; but has significantly grown in the new construction plumbing field.
If you are a leader who enjoys working hard to get the desired results, this is the place to be. Our need is for a project manager who will bid and win projects, satisfy customer needs, and make the working experience enjoyable for those around him. I had to call and ask if they were licensed plumbers. Overcharged for them to fix the mistakes I pointed out. Then charged overtime for them to drive back to the shop after the job was done. Was not told the time clock starts when they leave their shop till they return to their shop so count on an extra hour or two of billing.

This company doesn't understand the concept of working for its customers. Instead they rely on calls where they unclog drains. I needed a full build out for a commercial project in 2018. When I called them to get a quote, they asked me to send them the plans through email. I did hopping to get a time frame where they can come out and look at the job to give a price. Instead I just got an email for 80k while all of my other bids were 18k to 25k. I didn't even respond because they must have not took into account that there's a basement that makes all the pipe work more easily accessible

We have used J Noble Binns for a decade or so. Last month they came out and fixed a clogged/slow draining drain for me. The fix lasted a couple of days. I called them to come back out and fix it again a month later (my next day off), they came out and fixed it again....and covered it under warranty at no charge. Awesome job standing behind their work.

I made an appointment with J. Noble Binns for last Saturday for some basic plumbing repairs. In spite of their On Time policy, my technician arrived 45 min. late. He then gave me an overview of the work status, saying that all repairs could not be completed the same day. When my assigned appointment was completed, I was told that someone would return in one week at the same time to complete the work specified. I pointedly asked the repairman if I needed to call and make the appointment and I was told no, it was already on the docket. Fast forward to today. No call, no show after 90 minutes. When
