We needed to rekey locks at our house. Peter was early for our appt. His price was the best. The thing I appreciated most about him was he told me all the charges up front.
Some other locksmiths we called and used in the past would give us a range of what it might cost and couldn't give us a hard figure until they came over. Of course, by then you have to pay them or lose the service fee. And it always ends up being on the higher end. Peter is honest, reliable, empathetic, and easy to work with!

Bill's been taking care of the local area forever. Wife had gone there several time for this or that, but I dropped by because I had a difficult key to shoot. His shop is mostly a man cave - Bill is a community guy and his business is an extension of himself. He cut my keys perfectly (perfectly as in they worked smoothly when I got back to the vehicle, unlike the other keys I had purchased elsewhere). We chatted for a bit and he thanked me on the way out.

Great fast service. I called Bill's as I had a Commercial Front Door at my business with a bad lock. (I couldn't get in the door.) When I called I asked how soon they could come out. They told me 45 mins. They showed up in 30 minutes. The locksmith was friendly and knowledgeable. I wasn't sure how much it would cost to fix the lock and he told me $90. (A deal in my mind as I am a service company and know how much things cost.) I had him go ahead and fix the lock. He was done in about 30 mins. and even offered me 4 new keys. The lock is working great now and I am very happy

I phoned Bill for a bid on new dead bolts for a rental property. He went to the property and informed me that my current dead bolts were good. He was honest and his price to re-key the locks for the new tenants was reasonable and competitive. I recommend Bill for his honesty, professionalism, and good prices.

I had accidentally left my keys locked inside my truck and did not have a spare key with me. As I was attempting to squeeze my hand through the window, Peter from Bill's Lock Shop just so happens to drive by and offers to help. I am so pleased with his assistance, especially since he was on his way to an appointment. I am beyond satisfied, AMAZING customer service!

I needed a special key for a lock-box that nobody else could make. Owner Bill took the time to hand search his extensive inventory to find the key blank that fitted my lock. It worked perfectly! Bill is a really nice guy who will go the extra mile for his customers. I highly recommend him!
P.S. his shop is set back off El Camino so it's easy to miss. The driveway is right next to the Jack In The Box.

I was told by another shop (and the dealership!) that replacing a lost car key would be $350 or couldn't happen at all due to the age of my car.
I got a new key from Pete in under two hours for less than I thought I would spend. It was a simple process, too.
5 stars. I'll be going back next week to have spare keys made.

Just called to ask if they would cut a key for me that I would be providing. Person who answered the phone was very short and irritated. Prior to ending our phone call he abruptly exclaimed, "Give us a call if you are gonna come by to make sure someone's at the shop!" Well kind sir, you can wait all you want for that call because I'm going to take my "$2-$3" key copy job elsewhere (like Millbrae Lock maybe). Little did you know I wanted to see the customer service I would receive prior to getting ALL MY LOCKS changed at home (something I've been planning to do

I called Pop N Lock the day before and they didn't even come out!? So, I decided to look up local Locksmiths in the area and came across Bill's. I gave them a call and they were very polite on the phone. I explained to them the problem I was having and he suggested using some WB-40 first, if that didn't work they'd be more than happy to come out. So, they came out to place at Shelter Creek and within minutes corrected the problem. These guys know what they're doing! I would definitely use them again and refer their business

Called Bill's Locksmith about my doorknob problem. He was early at appointment time. After showing him the problem, he fixed it within minutes after arriving.
