Aairco were very professional and honest. My furnace (after 25 years) went out. Kris came out and gave an honest estimate that the main board had failed. The initial quote for the board was around 900. Kris gave me a quote for a new furnace at a VERY reasonable price. He was out the next day to install. Kris and his company are extremely reliable, honest, and trustworthily.
I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs assistance.

My wife and I purchased a home last fall and we called the warranty people to get our HVAC checked out. The initial contractor they sent was a scam artist and tried to hustle us to the tune of $8000! So on a referral from a friend who owns Green Guy 's Pest Control we found Aairco. They come out within 24 hours, found that it was a simple clog and fixed it and a few other things for only $179.
I know it says on the yelp page Santee and El Cajon but, these guys were great and they traveled up to my house in Scripp's Ranch. I can't thank them enough!

Worst company ever experienced.The practices they did wasn't good and insufficient systems. Didn't have the correct parts but they hacked it to somehow make it work. HACKS!!!! For sure will need to be services sooner then later. Owner n was good and did his best but supervisors and leads half assed the job. Didn't care how just make it work. New company definitely will go thru some growing pains

I contacted this company because we needed a new furnace, but then decided to also install central air in our home. I was really impressed with this company. Kris Zimmer (the owner) gave me all the information I needed to decide exactly what type of AC option to go with. He actually came out to survey the house as well. His employees were very professional and wore masks the entire time they were in our home. Phil, Jared, and Isaac did a great job installing everything and showing us how to work the new thermostat. I called the company to service my air conditioning and Kristen was able to get a tech out quickly. They're a lot farther away from where we live, but I had a friend that highly recommended them. After the service we got, I know why.

This is the second time Aairco has been to my home in a couple of years. The first time my ac wasn't working. They serviced it, added coolant and got my very old ac unit working well again. This time they came for a service check on both my furnace and A/C. Jeff took pictures of what he found in the attic (leaks) and fixed it up so both the heat and a/c will work more efficiently.
I am very impressed with their work, fair pricing, and promptness. Aairco does not come in and pressure you into buying new, expensive stuff.

We live in Lakeside.We had an Ac ,Furnace & air Purifier installed. We are 100% very pleased with Jeff, Khrystyn & Daniel.They were all very professional from the start to the end.no matter how many questions we had.They went beyond the call of duty. Daniel with Aairco just repaired the heating unit so we now have heat!! It's the end of December and cold so a prompt response was so appreciated. A little bummed I called this business because our A/C stopped working during the recent heat wave here in San Diego. A very personable and nice gentleman answered the phone and I needed a part. He said he did not have it at his exact location however if I came to it him he would send me to a supply warehouse to pick it up. He said $50 for the part. Sounded good until I happened across another A/C place in El Cajon and they said the part is $20. This company is wonderful! I called them on a Saturday....the hottest weekend this year. Of course my a/c went out. Not only did they come within 2 hrs of my call, fix my unit in record time, and on top of it they didn't charge me an arm and a leg. Mark the owner was super nice and his technician Ron was amazing. What a RIPOFF! I just purchased a home. My heater wouldn't turn on. I told him the thermostat was replaced. He said the transformer was bad and he had one the truck. About 20 minutes later, Lincoln said it's all done, here's the bill. $500.00. An electrician friend had told me there $40 max.

Since our A/C system stopped cooling, AAIRCO came out and suggested filling our A/C with refrigerant for $700+ as the least expensive short term option. I had them do that only for it to stop cooling again in one month. I had another company do a leak check for $260 and they identified the leak in the coil in our attic. I finally had the coil replaced for around $2000.
Thanks to AAIRCO I am out of pocket $700 unnecessarily and I really would like my money back.
Their recommendation from the outset should have been to do a leak check.

Zero stars if possible. As a CEO of a healthcare organization, we depend on our plant companies to provide quick and effective service. Airco provided neither and was less than apologetic, rather aloof and full of excuses. Their lack of expertise in fixing a residential AC and lack of quality parts vendors, left our company and patients in a poor predicament for two weeks. The problem was solved in less than an hour by their competitors. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Waited all day for an appointment with this company because my air conditioner is not working and it's 90° outside. 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment they called and canceled and said they will have to reschedule because they're busy in La Jolla. Poor scheduling and last minute cancellations are inexcusable. They need to remember that their customers have jobs too and can't take off time just to have to reschedule for another day and miss more work. Terrible customer service!

My worst case scenario happened. Moved into my new place during the hottest weekend of the year. I mean it was 100 and lava outside for 5 days straight.
Anyway, I go to turn on the A/C that night. I can hear the fan blowing but 2 hours later it is still 91 degrees inside. My dogs are having fits and getting overheating. I am melting away like an Indiana Jones bad guy. NIGHTMARE!!!
