I am very sad to say that I would not recommend Lauren Martin Moro.
She charged a retainer fee of $7500 to help us furnish two rooms in our home (no remodeling, just furniture). $7500 later, weeks after what was meant to be the initial delivery, we received a template of cheap looking furniture options that in no way reflected our Pinterest boards or the questionnaire we were asked to fill out at the start of the process. As well, the floorplans lacked any meaningful measurements or scaling. We felt scammed and ended the relationship before moving into the next stage. Who knows what our final

Never have I heard of someone so unprofessional. Lauren provided my friends with what felt like screen shots of hideous furniture options and said that her and "her team" sorry, what team? spent hours curating what looked like a bad mood board of terrible misguided designs and better yet had NO clue about the furniture she sent over. She also made them pay a ridiculous retainer fee which makes no sense and after speaking with my friend who is an esteemed lawyer, this seems somewhat illegal. I guess they learned their lesson on hiring Instagram "Designer." Please do yourself

Lauren Martin Moro does not deliver on her promise or reputation; far from it. She charged my daughter an upfront retainer of $7400 to work on aspects of her new 1600sq ft home. A month later she delivered sketches that did not only seem to be cut and pasted from other projects but whose measurements were totally inaccurate. Unusable!! When my daughter, in frustration, complained about the lack of progress and useless design plan, Lauren agreed that she was busy elsewhere and that they should part professional ways. However, to this point, Lauren has refused to return any of the upfront deposit

I had a great experience working with Lauren and L M Design Associates and couldn't be happier with the results.
We used her and her team to remodel an apartment we owned and to convert it into a rental. The apartment was old, worn and dated. Being a designer myself, I had a vague idea of what I wanted to be done. I toured the apartment with Lauren and within the first few minutes was blown away with her ideas, taste and confidence. After the tour, she put together a design presentation with a few options, all of which I loved, and would have never have thought to put together.

My firm used Lauren and her team for design services to comply with the city of West Hollywood (planing & design review board). The service we got from them is very pleasing and made us feel that we're in good hands. In terms of pricing, it's fair and where it should be. Communication is instant (phone/ text/ email) and makes the process smoother and more efficient while running a project! Her turnaround time for requests are always before the given deadline.
Lauren's team is keeping a high performance level and speed.
